We came to the Inn at Loretto after an unpleasant experience at another local hotel. We were exhausted after a sleepless night and looking for a warm and inviting place to spend the rest of our vacation. Hunter at the front desk provided exactly the welcoming and friendly hospitality we needed. We were grateful for his enthusiastic welcome and willingness to share restaurant recommendations and suggestions for our stay. He really helped turn around a frustrating experience. In fact, every staff person we encountered was genuine and helpful. We had a great stay overall. As others have mentioned, the rooms could use some refreshing and remodeling, especially the bathrooms. Our room was quite dark with barely a window (which I chalked up to the adobe style). But it was clean and quiet, and just fine for two nights. The bed was comfy and we slept well. I was grateful that they don't offer wood-burning fireplaces, as smoke was an issue at our previous lodging. The breakfast at Luminaria is spectacular. I'd highly recommend the breakfast package. It was a great way to start the day - as is the coffee shop in the lobby area. We also enjoyed the comfy "living room" area with live music, good drinks, and nice people. The shopping options in the lobby area are great. And, the pool is lovely and warm, even in the winter. We swam at night and enjoyed the hot tub. Location can't be beat, and it's overall a good value for the price. We are grateful to have found the Inn at Loretto to turn our Christmas vacation around into a more positive memory!

I've always been uncomfortable going into massages ... this time, I was able to relax and actually enjoy the experience due to the setting, ambience, and care by all involved. Natasha heard all of my concerns and hesitations, then delivered a tailored experience that has me convinced that massages are something I can and should do for myself moving forward.

We stayed one night at the Inn of Loretto & it was magical!!! Beautifully decorated for Christmas with a 24 hr fire in the living room & the kindest, most wonderful staff!! We spent a lovely afternoon in the living room having appetizers & drinks before going off to a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Our barkeeper, Eileen, was lovely! She told us about the hotel & was friendly & helpful. That morning I sat by the fire & was given coffee & restaurant tips by the incredible Tracy!! He was the valet that morning & was a wealth of information and one of the kindest people I have met in Santa Fe! Really everyone in the hotel was friendly, the hotel was clean & the location perfect to attend our concert in the St Francis Basilica.

The spa was calming and restful. My husband and I had massages with Diana and Natasha. They are both excellent and we left feeling rejuvenated.

Teri gave me the most wonderful facial - perfect for winter skin challenges! The foot treatment add-on was the most luxurious, relaxing thing I've experienced in a long time!
