TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

(Vacation/engagement) I will be back! special thanks to Naomi I couldn't have expected such kindness and hospitality.I proposed to my GF on my birthday she said yes! A new chapter in my life and I sealed the deal at the Loretto. That hotel now has a special place in my heart. See you soon......So much to do you can get lost for days and still not see everything in Santa Fe !!

Great Room, Best Bartender in Town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We've stayed at Santa Fe hotels ranked higher than the Inn. I can't understand why. The staff was great, the room large and clean and the Living Room Bar was a treat. Every place in the hotel was clean and tidy. The valets greeted us warmly and were helpful throughout our stay. The room (Grande Vista) was large, quiet and spotless. Maid service daily. Two slight problems: the thermostat is not particularly sensitive so the room was either hot or cold; and there is no shelf space in the bathroom. A stand alone cabinet of shelves either under the sink or next to the tub would be very helpful. Crafted had great (and free) coffee and tea. The lady on the morning shift was always cheery and helpful. The star of the entire show was Arturo, the bartender in The Living Room. We had a short conversation there first night and every night thereafter he greeted me by name and remembered what I drank. One evening we ordered an appetizer. The kitchen was out. Arturo had them create similar one for us. He was friendly, funny and a great to be around. The best bartender in Santa Fe. If you don't stay at the Inn, at least drop in for a drink.

Lovely staff and attentive general manager - immediately took care of a room change requested. Fab happy hour with affordable cocktails and great bites. Centrally located with every detail spoken for to the highest standard. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful 50th birthday experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I stay at the Inn and Spa at Loretto every winter for a business meeting. This year's meeting fell on my 50th birthday. The hotel always texts the day of check in to ask if you will have any special requests, and I responded that it was my birthday and I'd love an upgraded room (our corporate rate was only for 2 double beds). When we arrived, I had not only been upgraded to a King room, but the room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the outside check in area. Also, the staff had left me a birthday card and chocolate truffles from a nearby candy store. It was so thoughtful and really helped me have an amazing birthday. The hotel is old, but charming. The valet is efficient and friendly, as is the check in. The bar to the left of check in is wonderful as well and very cozy. They often have musicians playing and there are sofas and a fireplace. The rooms are also very comfortable! I will stay that I'm 5'5" and the beds are a little high - I had to kind of jump! But, very comfortable once I made it there! See you all next year and thank you again!

A definite vacation destination!!!

The Heritage Hotels and Resort group gives you an authentic Mexico Native American Spanish experience. I was only in Sante Fe for the weekend and I am already planning my next trip in October 2024. Such as amazing cultural experiences. Amazing accommodations and food. On a scale of 1 to 10… I give them a 20!!!
