We spent a weekend in a luxury suite. Suite was attractive but not functional: No shelf or storage space for clothes. We lived out of suitcases. No comfortable reading chairs or couch- not a problem since light wasn't good enough to read by except at desk. Huge bathroom designed for handicapped- no tub; 3 shower heads with barely adequate stream from one of the 3. Evening housekeeper very miffed we didn't want turn down service at 415PM; she never returned after being sure we knew how unhappy she was. Remade bed ourselves on first night when we found sheets were so poorly put on we couldn't use. Positives- Gym was functional and clean. Restaurant food decent with good service. Front desk personnel very helpful Attractive grounds

I can't say enough about our stay at Mirbeau Inn & Spa. My fiance and I booked Mirbeau for our wedding so we decided to splurge for our anniversary and check out the spa and overnight accommodations. We arrived on a Thursday morning for our spa treatments, he had a 50 minute massage and a men's foot treatment. I had a 90 minute body scrub and massage. This was seriously the MOST relaxing and amazing spa treatment I've ever experienced. The spa was super clean and had an extremely relaxing atmosphere. My skin was super soft and I felt so light and stress free. After our treatments we enjoyed a drink and shared a flatbread pizza on the Aqua Terrace. Our accommodations were lovely. We stayed in a Manor House room with a garden view. This was probably the cheapest room they have and the least fancy room they have... it was AMAZING!! Beautiful decor, the shower had the best water pressure and the bed was so soft I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud (I seriously need to find out what mattress brand this is and buy one). We had a view of the Monet Garden and it was beautiful and peaceful. I think next time we stay we'd like one of the rooms with a full balcony or patio so we can fully enjoy it. The service was excellent as well. We called the front desk for an ice machine and they don't have one in the manor house, but they offered to bring us up a bucket full. Within 3 minutes there was a knock on our door and our ice was delivered. We both had an excellent time and felt completely rested and relaxed after just 24 hours. After staying and receiving such great service, we are confident that we selected the right location for our wedding. We can't wait to visit again.

Went as part of a wedding and place is fancy and very well landscaped. Wait staff and bar tenders are great. Food is very good. Bathrooms and showers are nice. The bad: - Pricy. That is expected for this level though - not equipped to handle large parties. Wait staff were few and orders took forever... (got lunch in 1.5hr) - host lady in the lobby was rude and obviously irritated by our presence. - room cleanliness was below average. Other peoples trash under beds, behind night stand, etc. I expected better at this price. - beds were wet. I think ac did not dehumidify. Other guests from our party had same issues. - no trash cans outside of rooms or anywhere on property. People end up littering because there is no place to put refuse. I did not utilize spa services.

The hotel is attractive, built in the style of a french chateau. I arrived late, after kitchen closure time, but the staff went out of their way to still offer me an enjoyable meal. The hospitality the restaurant manager demonstrated made me feel welcome. The hotel room was spacious and clean; the bathroom very comfortable. As I had a problem with my shoulder, I had a massage which was very well done, very professional. The ambiance of the spa area is very good, it breathes relaxation. The only small disappointment was that I couldn't get a delayed check-out time to facilitate logistics for me. I used the hotel as a base from which to make a tour by some historic sites: Plimoth Plantation and "The Plymouth Pebble", presumed stepping stone of the first Pilgrims and reminder of the wrong turn history took when the natives, who had been very supportive (without them them the Pilgrims would not have made it), were exposed to diseases the English brought, and subjected to an English value system that showed no respect for that of the natives. It was an unexpected and enjoyable learning expedition.
