My husband and I spent the weekend at Mirabeau. The hotel was lovely, as was the staff. Everything was beautiful. The spa, grounds and rooms were very well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub and garden bar area were fabulous. The one exception was the length of time to have the kitchen prepare our food at the garden bar. It took an hour. The waiter was very accommodating and offered us each a drink on the house. The food, however was quite good. We will definitely return.

Just made my third visit to Mirbeau Inn & Spa, and each time it gets better and better. Must start with a shout-out to Tracey, the maitre d' par excellence at the Bistro -- she kept me and my friends laughing, entertained, and extremely well-cared for. What a great asset to the establishment she is. The food was also outstanding, much better than our first visit two years ago (which was fine, but this was memorable). The massage therapists are always top notch, and the amenities are great -- a sweet on your nightstand in the evening, gas fireplaces EVERYWHERE inside and out (including your room), nice fluffy robes, complimentary fitness classes -- we'll be back!

This was my first time at Mirabeau. It was definitely a great experience. I highly recommend the collagen facial. Heatha Harris did an amazing job. It was so relaxing. My skin looks and feels amazing!

I have had now 4 two-night stays. Three times were as girls' spa weekend and one time was as a couple. And am going back next weekend with my girls. So, the good....I love the feel of this spa. It feels "boutique-y" in that its small and cozy with a luxurious French feel. The rooms are lovely - spacious, nice amenities (wonderful bathrobes!), gas fireplaces, French decor and the beds are SO the little treats delivered at bedtime are much appreciated. The outdoor hot tub area is perfect..large tub with plenty of seating, bar service and fire pit to keep us out there for hours (although it was shut down for service the last time I was there - very disappointing, but that happens!) The food served in the bistro is delicious (forget the calories and get a home made croissant or two!) and I have never been disappointed with the quality of the meals or drinks. The treatment rooms, as well as the meditation room/waiting area are spacious (although not enough seats - see note below) and cozy with comfy beds/lounge chairs and fireplaces to keep you warm and the ambience perfect. The staff at the front desk for check-in/check-out as well as spa check-in are friendly, helpful and very attentive to any issues (shout out to the older gentleman, who welcomes you at the front door and brings luggage to the room - very friendly and helpful!) One weekend we were able to attend a painting class which was a lot of fun - I wish there was some form of "class" or entertainment each weekend - that is definitely a distinction that many other local spas do not offer. OK, now the not so good. I have been coming here annually for 3 years. The first year I would have given this review 5 stars. But the last two visits were 4 then 3 stars....the place is getting crowded...not enough seats in meditation room when waiting to be called for treatments - guests were actually standing around waiting to be called! For me, that room is half the experience, so this was very disappointing the last 2 times. And many guests are down right rude, talking loudly and taking group photos in the room that is supposed to be quiet and peaceful. The treatments are hit or miss depending on the staff member. I have had wonderful massages and some that were no better than one of those "drive through" chain places in strip malls. And lastly, the restaurant service is very slow, regardless of whether it's breakfast, afternoon appetizers or dinner. There is not enough wait staff and the food takes forever to get to the table. But, who's in a rush when at Mirbeau and generally, the wait is worth it, as the food is delicious and the drinks are well prepared. My cousins and I are going again next weekend and very much looking forward to our now annual trip to Mirbeau! I hope its not too crowded!
