Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Stayed in Orchid Room because I don't like noise from rooms above me. Room had nice combination of old and modern decor. Hot tub/shower combo was awkward to take a shower in, but if you prefer baths I think you will have no problem. Room had a very pretty stained glass window, but because of its shape could not use curtains to totally shut out sunrise light. Hotel did provide provide eye shades that helped me get a much better sleep in. Breakfast was tasty. I tried both sweet and savory choices while there. Best thing was location. Very little traffic noise, unlike being in the middle of downtown. You can walk down to harbour, or grab a taxi at the hotel.I would return to Abigail's without hesitation.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. The breakfasts, the appetizers, the outdoor seating, the fireplace room and most of all our room were all beyond our expectations. Perhaps the best thing about Abigail's Hotel was the friendly service. The breakfast was over the top!!!

My wife and I stayed at Abigail’s 30 years ago on our honeymoon. We hadn’t been able to get back until this year. We loved it then and we loved now. The room was wonderful. The food was great. And the service was the best. Plus, Victoria is a great place to visit.

Abigail's offers the best of high end hotel stay with a neighborhood BnB feel. Carriage house room was large and well appointed (with an option for synthetic comforter and pillows - thank you!), but it's the amenities that make the difference. Gourmet breakfast every morning, wonderful heavy appetizers every evening, and lovely public spaces - especially the garden patio. Staff were warm and attentive. Location couldn't be better, and offers onsite parking that's included in the price. Easy to walk and access transit if you don't drive. The aesthetic is classic/antique with chintz finishes. My mom and I stayed here during a mothers' day trip to Victoria. Recommended without hesitation.

A relative small Boutique Hotel which was our sort of Hotel. Everything about the place was out of this world. I've looked 'on line' and the Trip Advisor page does it justice, what you see is what you get.
