Below Expectations
Just went over latest reviews for this hotel. First of all , big chunk of them - ONE TIMERS . Should I explain what it means? I’m a very experienced traveler and stayed in many hotels. About “ Abigaill’s Hotel”. Very briefly. Location- great. Our room for $550 was pretty basic, without side tables. No TV ( small computer screen in the corner), no safe, no fridge. The bed is so uncomfortable, that you need to use a stool to claim on it( very inconvenient especially during night time). The bathroom: the actual toilet is old style very low profile, not comfortable at all. Jet bathtub and shower combo - not practical and not safe for elders. The old building has no elevator and to bring our luggage was a real challenge with two guys at front desk looking how you suffer with no intention to help. Breakfast is very average with nothing special. Our room was OR ( Orchids Room). How this hotel could be #1 in the country and #7 in the world? Did anybody traveled and stayed anywhere else? No recommendations from us.

Amazing Abigail’s
Abigail’s is the most amazing hotel! The staff is wonderful and will do everything to make your stay so enjoyable. The beds, the ambiance, the breakfasts, the beautiful setting with trees and flowers… so peaceful, inviting and quaint…my favorite in Victoria. This was my fifth visit and it is always so special!

A Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration
We were a group of nine septuagenarians and octogenarians celebrating 50 years of friendship and reading. We were treated as honoured guests and all our requests were handled happily and efficiently.

Great location great room great breakfast
Great location with free parking just 10 mins walk from downtown. Super friendly and helpful staff (both reception and breakfast). Excellent breakfast with different options each day. Lovely spacious room. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Lodging in central Victoria
Unfortunately, we started our two-week holiday at Abigail's Hotel. We quickly realized that nothing would live up to this place for the rest of the trip! Each room is a little different, and each has great character. Ours had a very comfortable king bed and a large claw-foot soaking tub/shower. The staff is attentive and friendly. We give special kudos to Dorota, who took very good care of us in the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast, Abigail's serves the best we've had at any hotel anywhere. You are served at table, and each morning has something different and special. After check-out, we were able to leave our suitcases to pick up later, which we really appreciated. One note: There is no elevator in the main building to serve the three levels above the ground level.

Our stay at Abigail's Hotel was perfect from the time we first parked in thier spacious parking lot to the time we checked out! The staff were so helpful they even made suggestions on how to be of more sevice to us. The room was so well appointed and comfortable as well as beautiful and clean that we didn't want to leave. I can't decide if I enjoyed the chef, sevice or the wonderful made to order breakfast each morning more. The evening libations in the sitting room were more like a dinner. All in all Abigail's gets an A+ with us! We will return over and over again! Thanks Brenda, Nick, and Kelly! (all staff)

We booked a last minute get away to Abigails Hotel in Victoria, BC. It more than met our expectations. We arrived late and were greeted warmly and professionally. All of the extras that were promised in the offer were there - a bottle of wine, chocolates, and the best snack tray we ever had. The food at Abigails was fantastic. The breakfast that is included is incredible. Home made & delicious. No one would want for more. The rooms are well appointed - every detail is thought of. We even had a real fireplace with logs!! Without Luxury Link we wouldn't have found this little jewel - now I can recommend it to everyone. They don't charge for parking or internet, which make this Hotel even more rare!!

Abigail's Hotel, Victoria M. Paterson Courteous staff, lovely hotel and lovely room in the Carriage House, delicious food, and great location. We have used Luxury Link since 2006 and have never been disappointed with our Luxury Link hotel choices and the extra amenities (such as chocolates, champagne), we have received from them.

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Abigail's Hotel! And I must say, it was AMAZING! This is our 2nd time staying there via Luxury Link and in our opinion, the overall experience rates ""10's"" across the board! The accommodations were luxurious, the staff was top notch, the food prepared by Chef Matt second to none! Our experience at Abigail's exceeded our expectations! We WILL be back!

Wonderful stay and experience as usual with luxury link. Using luxury link never disappoints! Abigail's Hotel was more than a home away from home. Upon arriving we had cookies, chocolates and wine waiting for us on our bed. Our room, as was described, came with a fireplace. It was ample and cozy. It had a nice spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi style tub! The breakfast was outstanding and varied throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the little extras that the hotel had to offer like the appetizers at night. We would highly recommend Abigail's Hotel and look forward to visiting again soon.

What a great Luxury Link package! Abigail's Hotel is very comfortable and the service is great. Delicious breakfasts and great complimentary appetizers in the afternoon. I will definitely return to Abigail's when I return to Victoria.
