Abigail's Hotel

My wife and I stayed here for three nights on a vacation to Victoria. Abigail's lived up to its amazing reviews and being chosen rhe #1 hotel in Canada by TripAdvisor. The customer service from the staff is excellent and friendly. The room is so beautifully detailed both for decor, comfort and functionality. The washroom has a great and unique tub and shower combination We stayed in the main, almost century old building with its narrow stairs and no elevator. The staff are happy to help bring your luggage up and down rhe stairs. Your breakfast time is booked in advance and it is a full three course delicious breakfast with choices of axbaked good (scone, muffin, croissant, etc.), main course, side, fruit salad, juices and coffee or tea. Everything is made in house and is delicious! You aren't rushed to finish, and they try their best to accommodate needs and preferences. There is also a daily soup available late afternoon along with tea and coffee 24/7. The parking is limited especially if you don't have a small car, but you can park all night on the street. It is in a residential neighborhood that is walking distance to many shops; restaurants and attractions. We will definitely stay at Abigail's again on our next visit to Victoria.

Until recently I was unaware of Abigail's Hotel, although I visit Victoria regularly and know the neighbourhood well. Having now stayed in the hotel, I certainly intend to revisit. The location is quiet, the service is excellent, with a friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are large and well-appointed, and the complimentary breakfast is to die for. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best hotel. I’ve stayed at amazing rooms kept very well very clean. Staff is amazing kind and helpful and the breakfasts are five stars all around no recommend please call anybody worth every penny.

I recently moved back to the island and decided I wanted to go to Victoria for my birthday. My mom got me a room at Abigail's Hotel and I was super excited. Upon arrival the gentleman at the desk informed us our room had been upgraded!! Wow, what a great start to our stay!! We got to our room and it was absolutely gorgeous, with a sitting area by an electric fireplace, and a large bathroom with a jet tub and walk in shower. We had planned to go out and do a few things that night but plans changed, I was in for the night! The tub was to die for. The complimentary bath salts were an added bonus. (Pssst, the lotion is really nice and I highly suggest using it if you can!!) The shower was also lovely and I felt so relaxed afterwards. The bed was comfy and large. The pillows were so soft and dream like. I was in heaven. Then suddenly my husband bolted to the bathroom. He was sicker than I had ever seen him, but there was nothing I could do for him so I snuggled in and enjoyed my cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. (The strawberries you add on extra but the cookies were a gift, and they were delicious!!!) In the morning I called to let them know that we wouldn't be down for breakfast since my husband was still ill. Instead they worked to bring breakfast up to our room. My husband couldn't eat it but I could, and it was phenomenal!! Overall this was a very happy birthday despite a sick husband, and it's all because of the fantastic staff at Abigail's Hotel! Our anniversary is in September and I'm confident we'll be back for a another stay. They’re close to a lot of the activities we enjoy in Victoria, and just a walk away from some amazing views at the ocean.
