Stayed for the Home Builders Conference. Enjoyed our stay and their attempts to modernize the bathroom were impressive. In hindsight I felt I was taken advantage of, due to their gratuity policy. To ask for a gratuity at check out on my entire room bill seemed excessive. Gratuity worked out to $160. Their gratuity expectations are listed and the credit card machine auto brings up the gratuity screen. I can not recall an accommodation property in the past soliciting in this way.

It was great! Food was amazing and prepared by the chef from a peekaboo window to watch if you like. Room was lovely and the staff was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those that like a boutique hotel.

Abigail's is nicely situated a few blocks from the inner harbour in the right direction away from the hustle and bustle yet steps to coffee shops and entertainment. If you like old world and not overly updated or modern this is it!

Mid Week visit & unfortunately we missed the before dinner appies. Lovely turn of the century decorated hotel and room. Front desk were very helpful with maps etc of Victoria as Abigail’s is 5 minutes walk from the Empress Hotel, Inner Harbour & Parliament Buildings. Found our room to be very quiet & bed was comfy, could have used extra pillows but minor detail. Morning breakfast was above & beyond with Chef Jason cooking off of a delightful menu, all included in our booking. Have been to Abigail’s once before & definitely will be back

We stayed at Abigail's last year and were delighted to return recently . Even though our flights were delayed so that we arrived at 1:30 am (!), we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Everything was as nice as the first time: clean, comfortable room and bed, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and evening "appetizers" (almost complete meals), crackling fires in the fireplaces, relaxation in the library, and the convenience of being able to walk to so much of lovely Victoria. Four nights here are never enough, and we look forward to another stay at this wonderful small hotel.
