A wonderful experience. A bucket list tick. We created a once in a lifetime memory. From the moment we were met upon arrival with a glass of bubbly we knew this was going to be a special experience. A total package which although expensive was well worth it. The food, wines, the staff& tours are exceptional but without any pretension. You are looked after 100% of the time. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a stunning setting in the outback but with total luxury all the way. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

Our stay at The Homestead was everything we hoped for! Amazing location, beautiful facilities, delicious food & staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. A small group of like minded travellers to share meals & conversation with was also a highlight of our stay. We took the opportunity to relax & soak up our time at The Homestead, also taking part in some of the tours on offer. A wonderful experience.

A lovely place, the accommodation and food are excellent and the setting matchless. Accommodation in Western Australia can be disappointing but El Quester homestead is truly deserving of the description luxury hotel

The original Station come tourist stopover on the Gibb River Road. We stayed in a riverside studio and our friends camped. You must do the river gorge cruise and hike up to Emma Gorge. We also hiked along the river and drove up to lookouts to watch the sunsets. Nice lively bar and excellent restaurant.

We loved staying here. The campsite is set up so well for families. There are beautiful grass areas, amenities are fresh and regularly cleaned with disability access and family shower rooms. The bar and live music has a great vibe with good cocktails on offer. The cafeteria offers excellent pizzas. We ate at the steakhouse and thought it was pretty good value given the high quality of the meals and the remoteness. The service was excellent across the homestead. The coffee at the steakhouse in the mornings was very welcomed and our daughter loved being able to get a babychino with marshmallows! We really enjoyed being so close to so many wonderful hikes, swimming hole and outlooks, such a wonderful place for adventures with the family! Our daughter was also very taken with the resident “cranky” donkey, Julie (though we didn’t find her to be cranky! 😂
