OK, so this hotel is actually located atop the Mandalay Bay but it it is truly it's own hotel is every way with it's own lobby, restaurants, pool. The staff is beyond excellent. The food superb. The view of the Strip is unparalleled even if the rooms are somewhat unremarkable but well appointed. The free valet service to anywhere on the strip via a new Mercedes-Benz a very nice perk. And it's a quiet, peaceful haven from the frenetic energy of Vegas.

First off, no casino, no smoking. If that's you're thing, stop reading. Now, if you want a break from neon, smoking and endless chimes and need a quiet retreat, this is your place. It is an oasis on the far south side of the strip. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The pool is a part of the complex of pools at the Mandalay Bay which is nice for the kids as the Four Seasons pool is small and adult oriented and the access to the Mandalay Bay pool has a waterpark and more kid friendly pool experience. The restaurants are great. Quiet and sophisticated, the staff is wonderful and attentive.

Buried deep in the massive Mandalay Bay, is the lovely Four Seasons Hotel. You won't get the "smokin" deals that you do at the other gambling oriented hotels, but it might be worth it to you to sped the extra 200-300 a night for a Four Seasons experience

Checked in late at night after a long flight and couldn't wait to jump in that comfy bed. The hotel entrance is beautiful and the valets were excellent our entire stay. The reception area is a little strange as you can't see it from the entrance, and there's only a narrow area to pull your luggage through to check in/out. The room is luxurious but is showing signs of wear. The bed and linens are amazing. The premium strip view we paid for was a little underwhelming. Bathroom is huge but again showing signs of age with worn towels and chips and stains and shower pressure pretty poor. We appreciated the hotel being relatively quiet and smoke free in the public areas with no casino. There is access to the casino within the Mandalay Bay and to their pools. The Four Seasons pool is quiet and beautiful but it is great for the kids to try out the Mandalay wave pool and fun water park. We had room service a few times and it was delicious and graciously served. This is a great hotel in Vegas but not quite as good as other Four Seasons we've been lucky to stay in.

Personally, not a fan of Las Vegas, but required to go for work several times a year. The Four Seasons, offers a peaceful, smoke free retreat from the Vegas strip atmosphere. Service is amazing and the restaurants always delight with fabulous food and service.
