Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great location, the hotel is part of the village, close to restaurants, slopes, lovely shops, easy free transportation between ski areas, etc.

Great visit at bcl again. Room was wonderful and quiet. Front desk staff helped with travel around Avon. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were clean. Great snow while I was there. Crustie sports set up my skies perfectly.

First I must say I am a big fan of the Beaver Creek Lodge. The proximity to the mountain and village is outstanding. the creekview rooms offer a great vista of the mountain as well as the quietness of the creek. I've stayed here a few times, and am going back soon. hopefully this will not be my last stay there, and the staff will have figured out a way to get internet sufficiently operational. MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT. upon checking in I was given the open wifi password. Great! as a consummate traveler, I carry a tv streaming device. usually no problem at all. however, I could not get it to connect to the internet. called engineering. guy comes up, fumbles with the remote, and has nothing but blank look of bewilderement. Surely your supervisor trained you how to work the tv? ok, he said he'd bring up an Ethernet cable. hour passes, call again. same guy, same look, no ethernet cable.really? you dont know if your hotel has Ethernet hookups. great. gave up on apple tv. now the real problem. wifi was the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel resort. even remote islands in the carribean have better service. I had to log in for every use. ridiculous.internet speed on tabletwas so slow simple pages took forever, and sometimes wouldn't load.again called. a young man in a jacket and tie came up, an assistant manager. amazingly the wifi connected in front of him. he informed me that if I was having problems logging on the wifi there was a business center. Really? I did not see"business Center" listed in the room catagories for the resort. was I to stay there the remainder of my trip so that I could get online? No, get your internet fixed. I also asked the young man how they operated a hotel with such slow internet. he said the office was hard wired, and he would send up Ethernet cable. phone call shortly thereafter confirmed what was previously told. no ethernet. I would expect to have the same internet available to me as the rest of hotel. this simply wasn't the case. I would also expect some way to stream through an apple tv, Roku, etc. no chance. thought about watching a movie available through the front desk but there was no player in room. minor, I know, but if you're gonna advertise have it available. Same goes for breakfast delivery to room via hangtag. while the restaurant is a separate business, Beaver creek lodge does use them for services. if you advertise an amenity, how about making sure it is available? same for internet. IF YOU ADVERTISE FREE WIFI HOW ABOUT MAKING SURE IT WORKS? AT ALL TIMES OF DAY? IN THE ROOM I PAID FOR? NOT THE BUSINESS CENTER? all that being said, I will be staying at this resort again soon, and certainly hope the manager that responds to these reviews can help remedy a problem. I come to Beaver Creek at least twice a year. I've stayed at condos, hotels, homes all over the village. I have never had such poor internet connection. I know there is better internet in the village. I've experienced. so there should be no reason Beaver Creek Lodge cannot offer the same amenities as its competitors.

The location of the Beaver Creek Lodge can't be beat. It was so easy to rent and store our skis in the building. The convenience of everything you need right there is so great! The rooms were a perfect size and very comfortable beds.

Beaver Creek lodge was a perfect location to the village, skiing and shops. LOVED this village and all the fire pits throughout! BCL staff did an excellent job making reservations in advance. New Years eve fireworks and lighted skiing down the mountain added to the festive stay. Very friendly environment. Much more so than Vai!
