We had the pleasure of spending a long weekend in July at Beaver Creek Lodge. Overlooking the creek, we slept with our suite doors open each night with the sounds of the creek. During the day, Christina (a wonderfully helpful concierge) booked rafting, hiking and adventure activities for our family.

Beautiful location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very cool small (72 rms) chic/lodge style. Next to lovely village with shops and restaurants. Many rooms back to serene creek. Restaurant and bar on site. Great summer retreat with golf, hiking on site and river rafting near by. Visited in July and loved our stay and would go back. Even has a ice skating rink in the village during summer! Several higher end hotels clustered next to it so you can utilize restaurants in them or the village. If you like smaller boutique hotels, try it.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of nights in January. What we liked about this hotel was the convenience of being walking distance from the slopes and the town. On the other hand, we found it a little dark and outdated. It's pretty basic and rustic, nothing luxurious.

We booked a single night at this hotel for our family. Very impressed with the property, amenities, location, etc. However, the front desk staff was inattentive at best and somewhat rude at times. You could walk up to the front desk and the 2 people there would not look up, greet you, or say "right with you", nothing. We asked when the room would be ready, so they called housekeeping to see. We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before they finally said, it's not ready yet. REALLY? They offered no information about the hotel, where anything was located, restaurants etc. A hotel of this caliber should have top-notch service. The valet was by far the nicest person on staff. We tipped him well!

What a gem of a hotel tucked away in the Beaver Creek Canyon. Quiet in the summer, but with plenty of todo's to keep active overighters and weekend vacay-ers occupied and entertained. Revolution restaurant is excellent dining experience. We enjoyed the restful time by the pool adjacent to the running mountain stream.
