From check-in to checkout, the experience and surroundings were one-of-a-kind. Expect immediate, warm service should you need it, and privacy should you not. You will not find a property more dedicated to customer satisfaction. We felt both pampered and at ease from the moment we arrived. Thank you to the entire staff for a memorable stay. We will be recommending this property to any who ask.

We contemplated between Calistoga Ranch and Auberge du Soleil & ended up staying here because a friend of ours spoke super highly of it. And boy did it not disappoint. We were there for 3 nights and the hotel itself was so enjoyably relaxing (and beautiful) that we skipped 2 wineries in order to spend more time at the hotel. And the comfortable on the bed was HEAVENLY. One note on the spa - we were pleasantly surprised to find that the spa has a mixed gender steam room! Since it is a small spa, we were able to use the steam room together without any interruption. Our first time to be honest as usually, every spa we've been to has the steam room situated within the locker room (and gender-based). Hands down - one of the best places we've ever stayed at & we enjoyed every minute of it!

Calistoga Ranch was my chosen destination for a relaxed birthday celebration in beautiful surroundings and it did not disappoint! We spent 4 nights here and would have loved to have a few more nights. Everything about this place is magical. It was raining and cold when we arrived but that did not put a damper on anything. We chose a Bay Spa Lodge which was beyond perfect. Lit the fireplace and enjoyed the hot tub on our patio, perfect start to the week. You can just sit back and enjoy your time on property or venture off to some winery's - we did a few but my main focus was Calistoga Ranch and it truly made my birthday trip one I will cherish always. We enjoyed the spa, dining and hiking as well as checking out the chickens in the chicken coop, very special property indeed!

We had a really amazing stay at the Calistoga Ranch. It was a splurge for us...but, it may have ruined us for any lesser hotels/resorts in the future! The rooms are so cool...and so full of little details. You really want to just hang-out in your room. The natural grounds are amazingly beautiful - it's set in a narrow canyon with a stream meandering, sometimes cascading, through it. it could easily be a park! There are hiking trails to take you to up the canyon walls and to the edges of the property. The service makes you feel like you are a very important/special guest...and they'll make anything happen with a phone call. We were there for 2 nights...and we didn't even take advantage of all that the Ranch has to offer. So...we've got to go back!

We stopped in to see this property this week for a future stay and the staff was very accommodating and gave us a tour of the grounds and room#124. Thank you to Jimmy for taking us through the property and answering all our questions! We will definitely be booking a creek-side lodge our our next trip up to Calistoga. The grounds and the room were amazing!!
