We had the most incredible stay at Calistoga Ranch. The property was beautiful, and the service second to none. While we only were there one night, the experience certainly left us wanting more. We can't wait to return. Thank you for this most memorable and peaceful stay!

It was our first time staying here. It's a very beautiful and relaxing resort. The staff is excellent. Check in and check out were very simple and easy. The amenities and grounds are very nice. We loved our room. We loved the vineyard and the chicken coop and the hot tubs and the pool. We did a couples spa treatment and it was excellent. My only complaint is that the resort definitely caters to a very rich clientele so everything is a little more expensive than you might expect (unless you're a rich snob.) Food and drinks are very expensive - and not very good. Beers are $9/ea. Prosecco is $20/glass. Hamburger is $25. Little details like that really irritate me when I'm already spending a ton of money to stay there and then have to spend so much more to eat. After one meal we decided to drive into Calistoga for the rest of our stay whenever we wanted to eat. Oh, and you can drive one of their Mercedes instead of your own vehicle. Such a luxury! Overall it's worth it...I would just recommend bringing groceries so you don't end up spending a small fortune at their restaurants.

What a beautiful place. The rooms were interesting and comfortable. Although cool in the mornings, we used the outdoor shower and it was refreshing and made me want to get one at my house. The bedroom and bathroom was in one section, then there was an outside living room, then the living room was in another section. The mini-bar was stocked with wine and they gave us a cake, knowing it was our anniversary. The bedding was so soft, I asked (and received) the order form for the components of the bed from the staff. The pool was nice and we had lunch overlooking it. We didn't use the gym, but we did get to the spa and enjoyed the couples massage with the private time in the pool. The on-site restaurant and bar was good and we ate there one night and had breakfast there on our last day. Room service is speedy and the food hit the spot. The golf carts zoom you around with a quick call and the loaner mercedes were there for our use during our entire trip. We had the resort arrange transportation to and from the airport and we didn't need a car once we got there as we used the loaner. I recommend Calistoga Ranch for a relaxing, luxurious getaway

The resort was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the landscape is stunning. Perfect, special weekend trip! Have dinner at the Lakehouse by the fire! Get a treatment at the spa and then relax in the outdoor jacuzzi by the fire. We went in January and it was chilly and slightly rainy but was the perfect weather for a cozy weekend.

My husband & I married and honeymooned here in March 2017. Calistoga Ranch is magical! The resort is quiet, private and enchanting—trees everywhere, a small lake and vineyard. It’s 5-star relaxed luxury. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our private estate. The two-bedroom detached bungalow is 2K+ square feet of amazing. Private outdoor spa. Separate gourmet kitchen and living room bungalows. Huge patio with fireplace, heaters and trees. Excellent restaurant. Room service breakfast was okay, but lunch and dinner were delicious. The fridge was stocked with free water, nibblies and a bottle of wine. Much appreciated. Negative: poor cell service on property, but who needs it? I fell in love with Calistoga. Beautiful wine country with less traffic than Napa. Close to wineries: Chateau Montelena (watch Bottle Shock), Schramsberg, Sterling, Castello di Amorosa and boutique family wineries. Wish we had time to borrow one of the Mercedes that Calistoga Ranch offers guests, or enjoy a spa day—maybe for an anniversary!
