We are newly weds and my Wife and I did San Francisco for 5 days but then moved on, as planned, to Carmel. I booked the Quail Lodge after finding out the original hotel I booked was going to be having ground work done during our stay…. That wasn’t going to work for us, so I found the Quail. We are not dedicated golfers, but we loved the Lodge and enjoyed the accommodation we had with the 4th Green of the putting course right outside our room a great place to spend an evening. We also got into putting the whole course a fair few times. It was so peaceful and the food in the bar was fantastic. The front receptionist Erin was especially good at her job and when we checked in and told them that we were on our honeymoon, she must have donned roller skates and put a nice cold bottle of complimentary wine in our room before we got in the place. A wonderful gesture. Thank you Quail. We will be back another time. ❤️

The Quail is special place - the surroundings are beautiful & tranquil. The rooms at The Quail are very spacious, well appointed, have comfy beds, and lovely amenties, plus the staff is very friendly and accommodating. When my husband and I want to unwind and enjoy a first-class experience, The Quail Lodge is our choice in the Carmel area.

The room was dated and shabby. Not worth the price we paid at all. The bathroom was greatly in need of an update. You could tell the bathroom was quite old due to the landline port in the wall. The bed was nice, but the pillows were uncomfortable.

wonderful Hotel, great service, beautiful rooms, and beautiful landscape. my wife and my self had the best vacation. The people who worked at the hotel gave us the best service with a lot of smiles and love. The room was very quiet, clean, big with nice balcony,comfortable bed,and amazing bathroom. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. the best hotel in the area by far. It was the best vacation ever!!

Can't say enough great things! As a local, surrounded by so many wonderful hotels and resorts, Quail is always my favorite. Their spacious bungalows, their breathtaking views of the ponds and the greens, their abundance of amenities, and most importantly their service. I always feel welcome, but on this most recent trip, Karlton blew me away with his care and graciousness. He sent personalized amenities to my room for myself, husband and son, showing genuine interest. His professionalism shines though and you can tell he enjoys what he is doing. You have found a true gem! Thank you for the memories! Can't wait to come back!
