I rented a luxury house for a family getaway & was disappointed. I called ahead of time to have some things set up in the rental home(pack-n-play & air bed) & was told they would make a note for housekeeping & when we arrived at the house this wasn't done & when I called the front desk they said there was nothing noted for housekeeping. When we checked in at the lodge we were given only one key & was told they would bring more over to us as soon as they got them, we never received any more keys. We had to ask for directions to the rental house, they didn't give us any information about the resort or the house, just gave us one key. When we got to the house we went to get in the hot tub and it was only 60 degrees, so we called & they sent a few different people out & by our second night about 10pm we could get in the hot tub. The kerig machine wasn't working, so they briight us another one. By the second night my family was telling me to complain, when they should have been enjoying the luxury accommodations.

I was there recently for a work function. The service was great. The rooms were nice and large. The food was great which is not always the case at large meetings. We stayed at the Lodge which is in a great location with a superb view of the surroundings. Since I was there for a meeting I did not have the opportunity to experience all the amenities offered by the resort this time around, however, on previous visits I have been able to better take advantage of all the resort has to offer. Without snow on the property I would think that summer would be a better time to visit.

I have a feeling we will be returning here many times with our kid. Suncadia manages to balance extreme "kid friendliness" with a very nice vibe. I wouldn't call it "luxury", but it is getting close, and it is rare to find such a clean, well-run, nice place that is also so kid friendly.

I rented a 3-BR vacation home located at 32 CakeBox Lane, via the Suncadia website. Description of the home indicated "absolutely no pets", and that was fine because we intended to spend a good amount of time at the lodge decorating Gingerbread houses and at the Fitness Center swimming, so we left our pets at home. The homeowner didn't mention in their description that they themselves have pets, or that the furniture and rugs would be covered with pet hair. It was enough that we weren't really comfortable sitting on the furniture. The hair stuck to our clothing. Kind of gross. I contacted the management at Suncadia who were empathic and seemed surprised about the hair. They sent housekeeping staff to vacuum, but there was so much hair weaved into the fibers of the furniture, it was impossible to remove. I feel like the homeowners description of the home was misleading, or that they should have mentioned there are pets that live in the home. Thank goodness none of us are allergic.

• No lock on bathroom door in 2039; broken or maybe there is none. • No housekeeping services provided to either rooms on second day of stay. We had do not disturb signs on doors for about 2 hours and no one ever checked back as is customary in most 3 to 5 star hotels. • Ran into housekeeping first day and asked for extra sheets and blankets and housekeeping very nice and very accommodating. • TV remote in one room inop. Had to call for replacement. • Front desk said ok to take 1000 steps down to the river because above freezing. Front door folks said can’t take 1000 steps; too dangerous, potential for ice. We took the front desk recommendation and walked down the 1000 steps; it was above freezing. So did many other guests... take the 1000 steps to the river. Recommend front desk and front door folks sync up and get on same page to provide consistent recommendations to guests. • Indoor pool and “gym” so small and crowded. The Suncadia community keeps growing and growing. Where will all the residents and guests go swimming or work out. Indoor pool and afterthought, or poor planning for growth, or a combination of both. • Ice skating rink so small and crowded. The Suncadia community keeps growing and growing. Where will all the residents and guests go ice skating. Rink size an afterthought, or poor planning for growth, or a combination of both. • We booked adjoining rooms for 7 people. The kitchenette had two plates, two bowels, two glasses, etc., etc., etc. For the amount of money you pay, you would hope reservations and front desk would get on same page and instruct housekeeping to stock the kitchen accordingly. 66% of the crew ate from paper plates that we supplied. The attention to details matter at this price point per room. • Asked for additional coffee mugs (see last feedback) that were never delivered to room. Ran out of room coffee after first day because rooms were not serviced on second day. • Suncadia feels like your whole neighborhood picked up and went to the same location for vacation. Ughhh! • It was good to visit here and stay in the lodge to conclude we will never purchase a home property here. Builders keep squeezing property sizes to the 4000 – 5000 sq ft lot size. Amazingly, people still buy property in the developing communities. Just not for us. Not much to do in the area either and not a real “getaway.”
