Stayed at the lodge twoards the end of smmer for one night. Can't complain - large, clean room. Was cool enlougb to have the fire on, whcih was nice. Would be great in winter and early summer when the river's are running higher.

Beautiful Lodge. Booked 2 nights in their wonderful log cabins, when I was not able to get the rooms we wanted for Lake Moraine Lodge. Initially a bit upset as their sister lodge looks beautiful. But was much much happier with Cathedral Mt Lodge. Beautiful Cabin by the river, excellent amenities and service. Fire place always setup. Their fire pit together with a bottle of wine is an experience. Sound of the burbling river, the roaring fire pit, and a bottle of wine under a clear starry sky is something else. We were allowed to go to Lake Moraine, and use the canoe's there, so I didnt miss out anything as well. (Canoeing on Lake Moraine in the afternoon with almost no one on the lake was mind blowing) . Don't get me wrong, their sister lodge still looks like an awesome place to stay, but I think I enjoyed Cathedral way more. Quiet , Cozy and Comfortable. Wifi in the cabins was a little spotty. Not that I cared. Was too busy enjoying the wine and outdoors, but some people might want to know :) Jon

Mt husband and I, and our adult daughter, stayed her in late September. We had a lovely cabin just a short walk from the river. A BR on main floor with additional bed(s) in loft. The cabin was very nice, L'Occitaine amenities (!), nice landscaping, attentive staff. Big plus was the dining room : the quality of the evening meal was Quite Outstanding ! Dining room, fireplace, outdoor seating area, great decor; Breakfast set up quite nice. We only had 2 nights here but wish we could have had three. Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Lake Louise. Great things to see nearby in Yoho National Park.

Nice roomy cabins, beautiful decor and way out in Yoho valley away from the crowds in Banff, Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. It really feels like a getaway. A definite plus for me was that because staying at this lodge allowed you to park at their sister lodge in Lake Moraine. We visited Banff on Labour Day weekend and it was crazy crowded. Even though we left at 9am to visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, all the parking spots were taken and they were refusing to let cars come in. The park employees kept diverting everyone to the 'god knows where parking spaces' that requires you to take shuttles. The front desk gave us a parking pass and because of this, because of this we were allowed through to Moraine Lake and allowed to park at their sister lodge 'Moraine Lake Lodge' . You can also go canoeing at Moraine Lake for free by just showing them your room key from Cathedral Mountain.

It was a wonderful location for our trip around Yoho national park. Exceptional dinner and a high class breakfast. The price is a bit high and it is true that it is very close the the highway but inside the cabin it was peaceful and warm (thanks to the fire place)
