Great resort, but needs some improvement
I love this resort. This was my fourth visit and I've visited with family and with friends. It is a special place, but it needs improvement. The pros - outstanding staff. They go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. The food is excellent. There are many choices at every meal. The resort is spotless. The spa and pool areas are beautiful. The fitness classes are good, but the instructors should introduce themselves with their names and ask if any guests need a modification. Negative - One key area is technology. I understand the need to relax and decompress, but some people need to work or stay in touch with family during their stay. Wifi is a basic need in 2026 and wifi should be available in all areas of the resort for safety reasons too. This resort is in a remote location with little to no cell service and you can't even call for help if you need it when you are in almost any part of the gym or spa. because there is no wifi. The guests would like to stream music or programs while working out. The staff just shrugs and knows it is a problem, but nothing is done. Same for their new system, it took months for their new technology to be implemented and guests had to call for room rate or availability. Their own front desk staff doesn't know that you can leave a deposit at reception using tap and pay. There are few evening activities and they are not good few unless you pay extra for some of the better activities that involve alcohol or crafts.

Luxurious Spa and Many Fun Activities
This was my fourth time at Woodloch Spa, and each time is wonderful! It is somewhat pricy to stay at Woodloch, however it is worth it for the experience. Aside from the Spa treatments available, they have so many activities that are included in your stay, which we signed up for and enjoyed immensely. The food is also delicious with a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Get ready to treat yourself!

Our Happy Place, Year After Year
We’ve been coming to The Lodge at Woodloch for years, and it never disappoints. The setting is peaceful, the spa is exceptional, and the rooms are always comfortable and spotless. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently excellent. It’s our go-to place to relax and reset—every visit feels like coming home.
