The Lodge at Woodloch

Hi. What a great day. The lodge is beautiful but more important the staff thus far has been wonderful. I want to give a special thanks to Derrick the Farmassist. He gave us a tour of the gardens which he tends to help create the farm to table menu here. He was extremely knowledgable, super informative and so kind as he shared his abundant knowledge on a variety of farming techniques. I had si many questions and he answered them all. I have been to many farm tours and have never encountered someone like him. At the end he walked us down to see the mushroom spores and the. to meet Sam the bee keeper who was also so nice. He told us a lot about the bees and how they lived. He showed us the hives and explained about how the bees live. It has been a great first day! Derrick you’re the best!

The Lodge at Woodloch is a rare jewel with impeccable accommodations and staff. Tiffany who manages the rooms divisions created a seamless experience I will treasure for life. Paula, JD, and all others at the front desk were so kind and welcoming that it felt like being around family. Valet is warm and attentive. Heidi and Amber in the spa were absolutely incredible. The menu at the restaurant is divinely curated and delicious. Sam, the farmer, took time out of his busy harvest and planting to provide a private tour of the gardens, bee hives, and green houses. Every second allows for thoughtful, personalized care focused on individualized wellness. There is a magical embrace from the moment you arrive until Mike Miller dropped me off at the airport in a scheduled housecar. The focus on community, sustainability, serenity and wellness are felt at every turn, and I look forward to my next visit. We're making this our premiere spa wellness place. You won't find a better place to recharge. The activities are extremely numerous, spa treatments devine done by truly experienced people, the food is plentiful and so very delicious. Our room was large with a spacious balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was equipped with double sinks, huge shower and separate water closet. A must destination better than Lenox, Massachusetts and more economical.!!!

I love this resort. This was my fourth visit and I've visited with family and with friends. It is a special place, but it needs improvement. The pros - outstanding staff. They go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. The food is excellent. There are many choices at every meal. The resort is spotless. The spa and pool areas are beautiful. The fitness classes are good, but the instructors should introduce themselves with their names and ask if any guests need a modification. Negative - One key area is technology. I understand the need to relax and decompress, but some people need to work or stay in touch with family during their stay. Wifi is a basic need in 2026 and wifi should be available in all areas of the resort for safety reasons too. This resort is in a remote location with little to no cell service and you can't even call for help if you need it when you are in almost any part of the gym or spa. because there is no wifi. The guests would like to stream music or programs while working out. The staff just shrugs and knows it is a problem, but nothing is done. Same for their new system, it took months for their new technology to be implemented and guests had to call for room rate or availability. Their own front desk staff doesn't know that you can leave a deposit at reception using tap and pay. There are few evening activities and they are not good few unless you pay extra for some of the better activities that involve alcohol or crafts.

This was my fourth time at Woodloch Spa, and each time is wonderful! It is somewhat pricy to stay at Woodloch, however it is worth it for the experience. Aside from the Spa treatments available, they have so many activities that are included in your stay, which we signed up for and enjoyed immensely. The food is also delicious with a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Get ready to treat yourself!
