Spa day..was looking forward to massage Was a little disappointed especially when I found out the people I went with had better massages..and scalp massages included...that said it still was a nice experience. .I love the amenities that the spa offers. The waterfall suana..steambath..pool..outdoor area..just a great relaxing day..would love to stay overnight and enjoy more activities

This was my second trip to the Lodge at Woodloch. It was good the first time and it was even better the second time around. Service is outstanding in every aspect at the Lodge. All personnel were pleasant, kind and very welcoming. In my view, if there is any request needed the staff are always accommodating to the needs of those staying at the Lodge. I loved the food, the grounds, the room, the spa treatments, the activities' schedule and every staff person I encountered was there to make my stay the best ever. I was grateful to share this wonderful experience with an awesome friend and she enjoyed herself tremendously as well! P.S. The bed and the pillows were the best ever!!! So very comfortable!

My sister and I planned a girls' weekend to celebrate her birthday and chose Woodloch based on TripAdvisor ratings and word of mouth. When we arrived, the staff wished my sister a happy birthday and were warm, friendly and very helpful. It was clear that they truly like their jobs and had been trained well on customer service and the importance of communicating with each other. The facility is lovely and so is the surrounding property. The food was delicious and the activities schedule was great.

This was my first visit to The Lodge, and I was very pleased with the overall experience: beautiful setting, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, excellent spa and facilities, fantastic classes and a staff who is there to make your stay the best it can be. Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous and knowledgeable; it seems like they enjoy being there as much as the guests.

I travelled here with my mom who was celebrating her 75th birthday. It was our first visit. We stayed a 2 nights, Thursday to Saturday. Overall, this resort is very nice. The setting is peaceful and grown up (I'm a fan of the no kids rule). We had a veranda double which was nicely sized with a very pretty view of the garden. There's only 57 rooms, so it has an intimate feel but with great resources. Attire is very casual, either your spa robe or workout gear is good throughout. Not usually a fan of all inclusives, this hotel is exceptional, and no tipping or paying bills throughout made it feel even more relaxing. (Note you do have to pay for alcohol, and they have an extensive bar and tasting opportunities.). The food was quite good. With extensive variety on each meal's menu, there were also specials and a self serve salad/breakfast bar. Menu items are coded as gluten free, nut free, dairy free, etc, but if you're hedonistic like me, don't worry, my favorite meal was the filet mignon followed by chocolate mousse. But this place really shines with the number and breadth of activities, from Zumba and Pilates to hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, painting, etc. we could have stayed another few days to do more activities for sure. And, of course, the spa. Very generously sized and with both single sex (steam room, sauna, hot tub) and co-ed amenities (waterfall hot tub, pool), you won't want to leave. Great indoor and outdoor spaces encourage relaxation and the full sense of spa-aaaah! Highlights we're the Rosemary Awakening in the spa, the Garden Dinner and Wine Tasting, and the Wine and Herb Tasting. My only note, beware the ticks! Wear long pants in the grassed area and check yourself.
