Please pay attention to all the negative reviews. There are many reasons for them. This was probably a fine resort when my 40 year old son was born. But I seriously doubt if the rooms have been refurbished since then. The first room had a beautiful view overlooking the valley below, but the smell of smoke from the fireplace permeated the room. We asked for another. It was on a scum covered pond, but at least we could breath. On checkout, I asked for the manager who wasn't in yet. So I left a list of 16 repair or cleanliness issues we found in our room and requested a phone call from him. Still waiting, but they promptly charged my credit card for the additional $20 daily "resort fee" for my stay. As for the positives, the bed was comfortable and the internet worked fine. I didn't use it, but the pool looked inviting. Overall, this was my most disappointing hotel stay. I was expecting a high end resort, but this doesn't come close.

We came here In the 1990s and were lucky enough to return here in 2017. At this point, the rooms and cabins are outdated, but the view is unbeatable. We had a wrap around porch with a panoramic view of the tetons. Service wasn't great - we asked for several items from the front desk (to have someone come fix the wifi and also for someone to bring some ice) and they assured us someone would come right away, but no one ever came. The property is amazing and worth walking around. You can also walk on the horse trail at the top of the butte AFTER hours when the horses are done for the day which gives you some of the most amazing views. Drive up to the top of the butte, park where you see the horse crossing sign and head out!

A lovely setting with typical western appointments in the room, we were frankly disappointed during our recent stay. Twice we had to call in the late afternoon after being out all day to have the room made up/cleaned. There is a fireplace in the room and the room always smelled of wood smoke which clung to the drapes, carpet and wall hangings. Did the Wagon Ride/Barbeque one evening. Food was excellent, Chef Buck is a real expert, and loved making S'mores, but the wagon ride was a real bust. Expected to go off road in the open wagon and see the butte, but t was a 15 minute ride on roads road the property. The $75 price tag for the ride and dinner seemed excessive and cannot recommend it. Loved the Granary - great food but a bit pricey. Evening entertainment at the bar is a real plus. The views from our room over the pond and at the Tetons was magnificent.

Spring Creek Ranch is in a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the Tetons. Unfortunately, the rooms appear to have been last refurbished during the 1970s, with old carpeting and heavy soot above the fireplace. But much worse was the extremely lumpy mattress and pillows. The first night, I was unable to sleep and ended up in a lot of pain. I to take my wife's sleep medicine for the rest of my stay. Every guest I spoke to had the same objection. One was complaining loudly at the front desk. For $400 per night, I expected better.

I called the hotel to schedule an airport shuttle since our flight from California doesn't get to Wyoming until 9 PM. The male clerk that I spoke to was curt. When we got to the airport, there was no shuttle so I called the hotel and the same male clerk answered and said that the shuttle was on its way and abruptly hang up without asking for our names so I called him back. He then said that we did not schedule any pick up and to get a taxi and again he abruptly hang up. When we got to the hotel the man denied having spoken to us and gave us our keys without any apologies at all for what just happened. I will NEVER EVER GO BACK and WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this place!
