Reviews for Spring Creek Ranch
My wife and I took a horseback riding tour. Our guides Randi and Joe were great, they were very hospitable and took great care to make sure we had a good ride and the view was incredible. The only negative thing was another guest who thought he was the tour guide and talked the whole ride. Afterwards, my wife & I referred to him as the man who wouldn’t shut up. Thankfully Joe took a bullet for all us and conversed with him on the ride. We would definitely go again.
We had a very patient guide Randi and a very talkative passenger in our group (we didn’t know) she was so sweet to let him “give the tour “ and add in her part because he knew it all! Thank you Randy and Joe for a very memorable trip! Despite it all we had a great time !

We stayed two nights at Spring Creek Ranch in a cozy inn room with amazing views of the Tetons. The room was comfortable, clean and even had a fireplace with plenty of firewood which we used because, although it was May, it was still cold. The staff was incredibly helpful and upon request provided us with shuttle service to town for dinner on the first night and, upon checkout, delivered our group promptly to the airport for our 7:00 a.m. flight. But the highlight of our stay was the three day Wildlife Safari in Yellowstone with Naturalist, Dawson Smith. He shared his vast knowledge with a sense of humor and humility. While we had an in depth tour of the Parks natural features, flora and fauna, our main focus was on the wildlife viewing in the Northern Range where the wolves and bears are most easily viewed. And we weren’t disappointed. We felt privileged to have such an opportunity to experience this amazing place with Dawson guiding us. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

Simply, the staff is wonderful. They always have ideas for activities and restaurants. They couldn't have done more for us during this off season. The place is clean beautiful. The wildlife lives right outside your room and we could have spent hours just staring at the mountains. It's just minutes from town and the ride down provides you with chances to see moose, mule deer, ground squirrels, and fox. Bison also have wandered through from time to time. We enjoyed the hot tub under the mountain peaks as well as the fire pit at night. It is quiet and peaceful, but just around the bend are the stores and restaurants. Visit the naturalist cabin for an education on the wildlife and some touring. They are great people over there. If you can put down your computer and games for a while and pick up binoculars or just a ukelele and just relax, this is the place.
The views at Spring Creek can’t be beat. The staff was very friendly and and it was great to have a restaurant on site. The condos need some updating to make this a truly luxury property but all of the other elements are there.
