The Lodge exceeded my expectations! The grounds are stunning - well-kept gravel walkways, lush lawns, a beautiful pool and fire pit area and butterfly and reptile houses. The jungle is a stroll away with well-kept hiking trails that lead to beautiful waterfalls and serene riverbank swimming holes. The staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. Ask them about the animals, Honduras and their hometowns. Special shout outs to Christian (the GM, who keeps the place going like a well-oiled machine) and Pablo and Marshall on the wait staff. Everyone was extremely attentive. We saw troops of monkeys. Ate meals alongside of hundreds of hummingbirds. Butterflies are plentiful and will land on you, if you are still. Toucans rest in the trees. And, guatusas and kinkajous roam the area near the restaurant. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and clean, but don’t expect glassed-in space. The cabins are screened in, but the ac units help to moderate the temperature and chase away some of the humidity. Last but not least, the Lodge hosts a fireside gathering every night out by the fire pit. Grab a drink and get to know your fellow guests!

Wonderful stay
A wonderful time. Truly beautiful location. Wonderful staff who go out of their way to help and make your stay a pleasure. Eduardo was my lunch and dinner server and provided excellent service as did Orlando and everyone.

Simply fabulous. Beauty, nature and homeliness.
The place is beautiful. The staff are incredibly attentive. We went on a trip to the Mangroves … monkeys, birds, crazy plants. We hiked through the jungle with Joel. Who was amazing, kind, knowledgeable and a proper local. Food was ace (we’re a mixture of adventurous and fussy eaters). Eduardo served us every night and is frankly a star. In short I e never been anywhere like this … and would love to come back.

We would like to thank Luxury Link for helping us discover the extraordinary Lodge at Pico Bonito in Honduras. The setting was spectacular, the outings each morning with the naturalist were fascinating, the food quite good, and the staff a delight. Our very private cabin was the epitome of quietly elegant, rustic luxury. But most memorable was sitting on our cabin deck with our early morning coffee watching toucans and parrots, butterflies and the occasional agouti! As you can tell, I can't say enough good things about The Lodge at Pico Bonito. I think many people do not think of Honduras as a luxury destination, and this lodge proves otherwise.

My fiance and I recently stayed at The Lodge at Pico Bonito...it is a truly beautiful place. The food there is awesome, the service great. The menu is superb and everyone is so wonderful and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience and we intend to go back this year if our schedule permits. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of one's everyday life.

Pico Bonito is truly a nature lover's paradise with fantastic cuisine and rustic yet lovely accommodations. All of the activities the lodge offers are fantastic. The nature guides are very well versed and the restaurant and room staff are wonderful
