Upon our arrival at Pico Bonito we were treated with execellent care. Actually this wonderful experience started with our hotel pick up at San Pedro Sula Airport and followed through to our departure. Everyone at the resort made us feel so welcomed, safe and pampered. The private villas were well appointed and very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was great. Our Spa experience rivaled the best we've had at home and on our travels. The abundance of bird watching there on the hotel grounds as well as in the National Forest were amazing. This place is a must for Birders, couples and families who enjoy the outdoors!

The guides were excellent - they just whistled or played a call and birds appeared in the designated bush in front of us ! Santos & Olbin are magicians. The hotel staff were great - really helpful & friendly. Brilliant location & wildlife. Great food & service.

What a spectacular location!!! The Pico Bonito Lodge and Spa is located about 30 minutes away from the La Ceiba airport. This is a magical location nestled in the jungle and mountains of The Pico Bonito National Park. We enjoyed a girls getaway in Pico Bonito and it was the perfect location. The spa treatments were top of the line! We enjoyed a wide variety of treatments from massages, facials, body treatments. The spa therapists were knowledgable and professional. The restaurant staff were great and the menu choices were delicious! There were many hiking trails around the resort including river side trails. There is a yoga pavilion overlooking the mountains. It was the perfect getaway offering lots of activities and relaxation

This was our second time at Pico Bonito and it was just as good as the first. The cabins are excellently appointed. The staff provide wonderful service. The food is some of the best that you will get in Honduras. I highly recommend giving this property!!!

A beautiful gem in northern Honduras. In the context of Honduras, it was a luxury stay right in the middle of the jungle. During the day, there are birds and butterflies flocking about. During the night, the rain and crickets lulled me to sleep. I'm not a birder, but I came to appreciate the incredible quantity of bird species. I really enjoyed the loop hike. I also enjoyed the service and the foot. The pecan french toast for breakfast is a must. The beef medallions were delicious for dinner. Main downside: bugs. Bring mosquito spray.
