Wonderful room, ammenities and food. We cannot wait to return for another amazing vacation. We had a great view of the mountains. It was just a few miles outside of Lake Placid. Rooms were clean, well stocked kitchen and beautiful balcony.

We came in for a wedding and we cannot wait to return again. We had a spectacular time!!! The Lodge is absolutely amazing!!! The room was so spacious and came with its own kitchen, washer & dryer and pull out couch. It had a super deep jacuzzi tub as well.

The Lodge is gorgeous with stunning grounds and views. Service is top notch. Rooms are lovely and accommodating. Dining prices are a bit pricey. Amenities are really good. Fitness center has everything you need. Movie theater showed 3 different movies. Outdoor fire pit with smores is a really nice touch. Screened in balcony with day bed was a treat to nap on.

We usually stay here twice a year with extended family, and each time it was worse. This last stay, unfortunately was the last. Upon departure, we had asked a few questions regarding forms of payment, and it was not well received. The woman at the desk acted as if she had better things to do, was very rude with her answers, and after paying $1,200 a night ( two night stay) we didn't deserve to be treated as such. Now I know the manager is going to come back with some lame excuse as to why we received such poor service, so before he/she can respond, I would like to say this......you need to have your front desk and restaurant staff take on a few hospitality classes.....if they are not there to serve people in a polite and friendly manner......they need not work in hospitality.....for the grounds people, and bell staff.... the front desk and restaurant folks could learn a thing or two from them. They were professional, friendly, and courteous.
