Excellent hotel and lovely location. Beautiful, well kept, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend.

Whiteface Lodge was exceptional. We arrived Sunday evening tired after a long day of travel and the valet was right there helping us. Took care of the bags, asked for the keys and walked us to the lobby desk. Everything was smooth as silk. The room was ready for us, the front desk manager pointed out all amenities and made sure we were comfortable immediately. Room was immaculate and we settled in, started the fireplace up and relaxed into our vacation. Everyday spa treatments and massages were heavily and by the time we left a week later we knew everyone by name. Cannot say enough about the staff there and the resort was beautiful and comfortable. Also we’d like to thank whoever ordered the incredibly beautiful sunny weather every day because, well, that was perfect too. After mornings at the spa we would go for drives into Lake Placid a couple minutes away or into the mountains. Leaves were Just getting ready to turn so we were probably a week or two early but ohh well. We will be back :) Thank you Whiteface Lodge for the incredible memories.

Whiteface Lodge is a very special place. I had to go for a work trip and stayed in a single room by myself. The room was generously sized and overlooked a beautiful courtyard where they hold weddings. The grounds have every yard game you could imagine from tennis and pickleball to ice skating in the winter. The restaurants were beautiful spaces to sit in and the food was excellant. This is a top notch resort all nestled into the amazing town of Lake Placid.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful, well kept, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend, except the prices are high. Breakfast is buffet style and delicious.

We’ve stayed here the same week for over 5 years and each time it does not disappoint. The hotel is beautiful. Luxurious inside and out.
