We stayed at the lodge for a friend's wedding. The grounds are great, the pool was extremely refreshing. Rooms are decorated beautifully. The best part is their private beach on the lake with access to kayaks and other water activities

everything was TRIPLE A PLUS the only thing that could have been better was the weather and that was not the hotels fault the room was like being at home with everything you could possibly want or need, kitchen, dining area,tv area with couch and two chairs, 1 1/2 bath and king bed

Exceptional service, food, and amenities! We enjoyed the outdoor pool/hot tubs, game room, and movie theater. Even on the rainy day, there were no complaints from the kids. Added bonus of cookies in the room and s'mores by the fire nightly was a favorite. We enjoyed lake placid as well, particularly the scenic flight we took over the High Peaks. My only regret was that I did not make it to the spa, but will definitely add that to the next visit!

This is one of the best hotels around the New York area. There is so much to do and they think of every detail, even putting steaming hot chocolate next to the skating rink. The pool temperature was amazing making for epic outdoor swims. From the service to the lovely rooms I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We will be back every year.

My family had a wonderful time at the Whiteface Lodge. There was so much to do and see, but our favorites were the pool/hot tubs and the game room. We loved the bowling room and the shuffleboard game, which were on our agenda every day! And the pools were visited multiple times per day...we especially loved the swim out indoor/outdoor aspect. The suite accommodations were great, and everything was very clean. The jetted tub was a bonus, and had our kids begging for baths! We loved the afternoon coffee/tea & treats that were put out each afternoon, and the fire with s'mores each night. The town was also very neat, visiting the Olympic Village was a special treat! We didn't get to do everything we'd hoped to (due to weather), but we will be back!
