Whiteface Lodge

I love this hotel. It's located in the Adirondacks Mountains in the New York State in the USA. The atmosphere is great! The rooms are also great with a nice living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bathroom. The value is good with the price being a bit expensive, but it's worth it! The rooms and the shared areas are kept tidy and clean. The noise level is also good with you not being able to hear any noise when going to bed. The service and staff is awesome with them being helpful and kind. There are a lot of great amenities such as: A few restaurants, a bowling alley to rent for yourself, a park, a movie theatre, a game room and a gym. My favorite amenities are: the bowling alley, the movie theatre and the game room.

Having been a guest here many times....it is still one of my favorite places! We left CT. just before a HUGE snowstorm.....the State was actually 'closed'.....to come to a place known for their frigid temps sounds silly.....but it really is far more relaxing and cozy than going South! WFL has everything under one roof! You can get to the pool/hot tub through a heated tunnel. Two restaurants. ice skating....and they plow as needed and have their own Zamboni....bowling alley, game and exercise rooms...and a full-screen movie every night with popcorn provided!. Fireplaces in every room. GREAT staff.....often students from far away lands who are attentive and go out of their way to please guests. It is not a bargain place to stay.....and hamburgers are $29 which we feel is pretty high....even though the fries that come with it are great!

Beautiful property and rooms. However, for spending over $600 for one night, it was thoroughly not worth it. I advise if you are a couple or adult looking for a weekend away, do not choose this hotel. The amount of kids here was insane. Couldn't even go to the hot tub because the entire area was flooded with children splashing everyone. Then while sitting in my room, all I could hear was the kids playing hockey above us (yea we heard their parents talking about it at the bar-great parenting). If you're looking for a couples winter away, choose another upscale hotel in the area. Highly recommend mirror lake inn.

I had a wonderful getaway with my daughter at the Whiteface Lodge! The staff, service, accommodations, amenities, and restaurants were all top notch! Thank you for a perfect stay!

If you have never been to the Whiteface Lodge, you will see its beauty without understanding all that it has lost. The fireplaces are a major contributor to the atmosphere and none of them were lit on our last visit. It’s getting run down and this was a drink served to us at the bar. For $19. When we pointed out that it’s actually half a drink, our server argued with us and then the bartender filled the glass with whipped cream. There is no longer a feeling of comfort and abundance here- it is now feeling cold, corporate and penny pinching. Not good.
