Whiteface Lodge

First of all the resort has great potential if it gets a refresh. I was disappointed that none of the indoor wood fireplaces could be used because of code failure from the previous year. they had a whole year to fix. one of the hot tubs was broken and everyone was in the small one which didn't have enough water in it. the outdoor area where you walk was not heated so it was freezing and snow was accumulating. there is also no shuttle to downtown you have to drive. i can't imagine during ski season and you have to drive yourself to the mountain. when we stay downtown they have a public ski shuttle.

Excellent place to relax with lots of amenities to please different interests. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lots to do close by. Really enjoyed have nice dining facilities on site.

We just came back from spending most of this week at the Whiteface Lodge as a fall getaway with our children. We stayed in the presidential suite, and I can’t say enough great things about our stay. The room was stunning, the view and grounds were beautiful, the food was great, and the staff were so friendly. We will be back at least once a year, it’s a beautiful place to be. The food was excellent, and you just feel so at home during your stay. We can’t wait to return! This is a gorgeous place.

Our yearly trip to the Whiteface Lodge was exceptional as usual. Gorgeous laid back atmosphere with lots to do right at the Lodge..there's no need to leave the property. Staff are always frie dly and knowledgeable. Great place!!!!
