Best location possible for a Machu Picchu visit!
I LOVED staying here! We arrived on the extraordinary Belmond Hiram Bingham train. What a way to arrive to this magical hotel. We had full board and everything was included and top notch! We were able to do Circuit 3 the first day after check in. As well as Circuit 2 the next. The rooms are cozy and the service is big! After checking out the 2nd day we did our circuit. It was wonderful to come back and use their guest facilities to shower. Before heading to champagne and afternoon tea. Next was getting on the Hiram Bingham train to go back to Cusco. It's very pricy but together these were on my bucket list.

Beautiful setting, great spa, easy access to Machu Picchu. I would stay here again if we were returning to Machu Picchu.

Restaurant only - had a great time
We came only for the restaurant, great quality food, albeit with US prices, but it was all done with high quality ingredients, nice presentation, and the food was all delicious.

We visited Peru and the entire trip was spectacular. Orient-Express hotels provided exceptional service and world-class accommodations. We stayed at the Miraflores Park Hotel, Hotel Monasterio, and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. All three hotels had beautiful rooms, outstanding restaurants, and a helpful friendly English-speaking staff. From now on, Orient-Express will be at the top of my list for worldwide travel.
