The best part is optimizing your Machu Picchu ticket with the hotel. They met us in Machu Picchu pueblo and loaded our bags Checking in 11am - minibar is included in price! Lunch - order as much as you want! 1pm Visit route 2a - waited 10 minutes to let the commoners go first Dinner - Very good food - Live Music Breakfast - buffet plus ordering off menu 8am Visit route 1c Lunch - have to pay for this one - Hit the buffet next door! 1pm Visit route 3b 4pm sent our bags down to the train station Met their representative and they loaded bags on the train. Service was 10 out of 10. They lent us hiking poles, gave us cold towels and drinks as after a hike.

Love Sanctuary Lodge
The staff at the lodge are 5 star! Katy took care of us for 3d/2nite making sure our visit to the lodge & Machu Picchu would be wonderful & that any need was met. She & her BELMOND team exceeded our expectations. Wilson, our waiter, took care of us at every meal. Even becoming familiar with our preferences. The food & drinks were always excellent. It’s a long way from home so this is the accommodation to have at MP!

Luxury Stay in Machu Picchu
This is our 4th time staying there. It is definitely pricey, but worth the stay. You have Machu Pichu as your backyard and everything is included (meals and drinks). The service is great and we just seem to come back every time friends want to go to MP.

We visited Peru and the entire trip was spectacular. Orient-Express hotels provided exceptional service and world-class accommodations. We stayed at the Miraflores Park Hotel, Hotel Monasterio, and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. All three hotels had beautiful rooms, outstanding restaurants, and a helpful friendly English-speaking staff. From now on, Orient-Express will be at the top of my list for worldwide travel.
