Excellent experience
The attention was excellent. Our waiter, Russel, saw to our comfort and best experience. His attention was excellent at every moment and provided an excelling costumer experience.

Brief but memorable visit
I had a really short but wonderful visit to the restaurant in the Sanctuary Hotel. I was a bit disoriented from weird sleep and the altitude and I arrived at the entrance to Machu Picchu more than an hour before my entrance time and on one of those freak days during dry season when it was pouring rain. I took refuge in the restaurant and had a really delicious and well made coffee. A very nice man named Russell served me and encouraged me to try one of their croissants with my coffee and it was both fluffy and crispy (the way I like them!) It was just a brief visit, but very memorable.

Amazing lunch and staff.
We visited for lunch and the reception prior to the Hiram Bingham train. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. All of the staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. In particular, Alexander and Elias were wonderful! The property itself is beautiful and we had a beautiful guided walk through the terrace. I would highly recommend a visit.

Macchu Picchu Lunch
Wilson and Alex were excellent waiters. They explained the menus choices well. Their attentive service made our experience very memorable. Our meal at the Sanctuary Hotel was a highlight of our trip to Peru!

We visited Peru and the entire trip was spectacular. Orient-Express hotels provided exceptional service and world-class accommodations. We stayed at the Miraflores Park Hotel, Hotel Monasterio, and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. All three hotels had beautiful rooms, outstanding restaurants, and a helpful friendly English-speaking staff. From now on, Orient-Express will be at the top of my list for worldwide travel.
