Really good breakfast and visiting Machu Picchu. Everything we needed and more. The coffee and spread was excellent. The service impeccable and our waiter, Russel, was very good and knowledgeable. He shared his native experience through chocolate

We had a great lunch experience at this place which is super well located at the foothills of Machu Picchu. Ask for super waiter Breham to complete your experience in Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu dining at it best!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

After an amazing visit to Machu Picchu Circuit 3 and before we embark the Hiram Bingham train to Poroy we stoped at the Sanctuary Lodge for lunch. After amazing and exotic main dishes and fabulous Pisco Saurs we had the best ever Creme Brûlée with lemongrass! Unique and beautifully presented too. All of this with an absolutely flawless and friendly service!

Welcoming visit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

After hiking Machu Picchu, my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We were not guests of the hotel, however the staff was gracious in welcoming us. There is a large variety of food and drink. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. Our server, Russel was excellent. We enjoyed speaking with him. He shared a special drink of plantain, cinnamon and star anise. Russel provided excellent service. We recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the staff and especially to Russel!

We visited Peru and the entire trip was spectacular. Orient-Express hotels provided exceptional service and world-class accommodations. We stayed at the Miraflores Park Hotel, Hotel Monasterio, and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. All three hotels had beautiful rooms, outstanding restaurants, and a helpful friendly English-speaking staff. From now on, Orient-Express will be at the top of my list for worldwide travel.

We traveled to Peru and enjoyed stays at Miraflores Hotel in Lima, Hotel Monasterio in Cusco, and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. I am highly satisfied and recommend these hotels without reservation.

Our travels have taken us to several Orient-Express properties. The Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is exclusively situated at one of the most 'magical and mysterious' sites in the Americas, and guarantees the visitor never-to-be forgotten experiences.
