A suspension bridge cuts 150 feet through thick rainforest vegetation filled with howler monkeys and three-toed sloths to connect Morgan's Rock to the outside world. Built on cliffs overlooking a private cove, bungalows in this nature-centric conclave are spacious and rustically sumptuous. Managua-based Simplemente Madera constructed certified-sustainable furniture from local hardwood, and native artist Augusto Silva honors Tunu culture in his colorful paintings. Relish an early morning yoga session at a beachfront pavilion and a solar-powered hot shower to end the day.

We stayed 4 days as part of a wedding event and were blown away. Morgan's rock is beautifully located overlooking the sea, the villa we stayed in was clean and comfortable (not to mention nicely designed), the food was excellent. The staff were all friendly, responsive and overall made our time there so enjoyable. Their committment to sustainability is admirable and should be taken as an example. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely hidden escape that feels remote but safe and welcoming. We celebrated a wedding with friends and it was festive, relaxing, exciting (surf lessons), and all with great weather and excellent service. Food is tasty, rooms well appointed, staff there to help. Thank you!

We stayed at Morgan’s Rock for over a week. The bungalows are breathtakingly beautiful. Our bungalow was one situated up on the hill we were able to hear and see the wildlife in its natural form. We were overlooking the jungle staring straight at the sea. Sea views in front and the bay to our right. We enjoyed our infinity pool during the day and relaxing on the beach in the afternoon watching the sunset. We went on the sloth and monkey safari and was not disappointed. We went hiking up the hills on foot and on horseback. The service was great and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in Nicaragua.

5th visit, still the best place we have ever been and worth the slight hassle to get there from the UK. This is such a special place. The private beach is beautiful, I can never tire of it. The lodges are all goregous, you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, with stunning views. The staff are kind, thoughtful and fun, and the food and drink delicious. Sustainability is at the heart of the business. Already planning visit 6 next year. Thank you Morgans Rock See you very Soon! Rebecca and Tabatha x

My family and I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 4 nights. The villa was spacious, well done and provided excellent views. The monkeys playing in the trees and howling in the morning were an added bonus. The beach was beautiful and clean. Meals were delicious and the service was on point. I had a massage and the experience was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed all of the interesting aspects of staying at an eco lodge.
