Overall, it was a great experience. Beautiful setting and great facilities. The only drawback was the service at The Rye was poor, but the Ranch House was great. The spa was very enjoyable.

It was a perfect high desert, 3 day getaway. You don't need to leave the property to enjoy a short vacation. The natural setting and the outstanding mountain views make Brasada Ranch a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.

I actually would give Brasada Ranch 3.5 stars if possible. There were positives like the spa (fabulous massage), delicious food, great hot tub at the cabin, and plenty of activities. However, there were also quite of few negatives. The tennis rackets and balls we borrowed were old and in poor condition, we were never told housekeeping comes every 4 days (which is far too long when you stay in a cabin and need the trash removed), and things in the cabin just didn't work (safe, conditioner, no sponge). If you are looking for a fairly inexpensive place to stay with the family then it is 4 stars, if you want a more upscale place to stay with the family then it is 3 stars.

Brasada is a really cool place. This was our third time visiting and our second with our kids. We stayed in a cabin with our dog. The cabin was super clean ad spacious, beds were comfortable and everything worked, no issues. We have always visited in the spring on spring break which is a bit off season for them and the resort is quiet, and more affordable. We like not having a ton of people around however, it should be noted that activities will vary on days of the week and what's open/not. So if your kids are super pumped about the pool slide, i would check when it's open when you book, as it's not every day. Also the resort is on a hill. So if you're a walker, be okay with some incline or bring E-bikes or rent a golf cart. If not, you may drive around more. Great for pets, great for kids. The golfer in my family is happy. Stables are spendy but they are top notch down there, we loved our trail ride. There are a lot of activities to do. Views can't be beat.

Brasada Ranch is a beautiful place to unwind. Mary at the front desk is a wonderful asset who had our package all lined up and ready to go! She made sure our room was perfect and remembered out names when we saw her each time. The Ranch House restaurant was the only restaurant open during the low season, but we did not mind. The food was delicious and the staff were so lovely. We enjoyed this experience and are planning on coming back this summer! P.S. The ranch dog Dottie is just a wonderful addition and we loved greeting her everyday! -J. Coln
