Brasada Ranch

The guest services were 5*. We enjoyed the fitness facilities (also 5*) including the morning strength class which provides a solid moderate workout. The restaurants were adequate (3*). The Ranch House food and drink are decent but nothing special. Wild Rye's ambiance is more clubhouse than fine dining restaurant but is priced as the latter. Pretty much everything on the menu seems to have one (or more) too many ingredients. It's not competitive with many fine restaurants in Bend. The room was a big disappointment (2*). When we arrived, the room was deadbolted such that the electronic key wouldn't work, we had to wait for a staff member to unlock it. One expects that website photos will make the rooms look larger than they are, but the difference was the most substantial we've experienced. The bedroom felt cramped for a resort. Lighting was poor, notably there was a reading lamp only on one side of the bed. The window faced east and had only light-porous blinds which meant early light woke us. That would've been even worse in the height of summer. The thermostat didn't work properly. A maintenance guy explained why but didn't have a solution to the wide temperature swings no matter how we set the system. The refrigerator made a loud noise every 20-30 minutes, we had to unplug it so we could sleep, and lost some leftovers we'd hoped to eat the next day. A soap bracket in the shower was broken so there was a sharp edge that we had to avoid. One thing we liked is that they say they clean the rooms only after 3 nights and they mean it. So many places put up signs that they reduce cleaning for environmental reasons but then change linens every day even the ones that you hang up to not replace.

We have been here twice in the last few months because we enjoyed it so much. Tons of things to do on property(great food, Spa, Golf, etc), and we enjoyed many of them. we love the quietness and service at the adult pool as well. I hike and trout fish, so there are several really good places within 30 min to go. Bend is close by for a day of shopping or a night on the town. airport is only 15 minutes away! weather is phenomenal-we left the heat of MS to feel like fall!!

We come here often. We always stay in the guest cabins, which are clean and comfortable. The food is great in both locations. The quality of the food is second to none, and the chef is fantastic. The golf course is always in great shape and one of my favorites in Oregon. Probably the best thing I can say is about the employees. Eager to help and just so friendly. Customer service is a 10 plus.

Our go to place to relax, rejuvenate and forget about life! :) Fantastic resort and amenities; the bungalows are our absolute favourite and always spotless. One day we’ll be building there, that’s how much we love it!

We had a wonderful vacation at Brasada Ranch with three generations of our family, and it truly was the perfect place for everyone to gather, reconnect, and spend quality time together. What made Brasada Ranch so special was that there was something for every age and interest. Everyone could enjoy the ranch in their own way, while still having plenty of opportunities to come together as a family. The beautiful setting, wide-open spaces, and relaxed atmosphere made it easy to slow down and simply enjoy being together.
