Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection

We so badly wanted to love Bishop's Lodge because the grounds were beautiful and the room was lovely. We felt like something was "off" - as if it were the month that they trained new employees. Little things like the the maitre'd never greeted us at breakfast, our room was ready late, and there were so many flies in and outside the restaurant and at the pool. On our last day, we walked to our car because it took so long for someone to come for our bags and we just left without anyone saying goodbye. The location is great, the buildings are beautiful and there is no reason that the management team cannot up the service level to make this a 5-star experience.

Atmosphere was great, the location is not far from Santa Fe airport and close to the Santa Fe Plaza. Room was clean, super nice, and comfy. Service was top notch. I would say 10/10

Bishop's Lodge offers an exceptional and quintessential Santa Fe experience, even the air from the fireplaces creates a lasting impression. The employees are all very friendly and kind. The accommodations are top notch and very authentic to the region. We have always had a wonderful stay and look forward to our return.

Good location near town, great rooms that were clean. Noise was minor once the other guests' kids went to bed. Service good and cleanliness was what you would expect at a place of this level. Value was questionable, but I was there on a high-demand weekend.

Missing the soul and the spirit of this place. This was our 6th visit to the property. Finding flies instead of the soulful seed of this project. It is a wonderful property, but there is something off in terms of water management and relationship with the local community. That matters. The fly issue is pretty intense. Kind of impossible to eat at the restaurant, even with the fly fans.
