Reviews for Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection

Beautiful property

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had a wonderful stay overall at Auberge Bishop’s Lodge. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the property has a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere that makes it a special place to visit. Breakfast was delicious each morning and was one of the highlights of our stay. The quality of the food and service at breakfast was outstanding. A few areas could be improved. Our room could have used a bit more attention from housekeeping, as there was noticeable dust on the floor throughout our three-day stay. In addition, the bar area seemed understaffed during dinner service, which resulted in slower service than expected. It’s such a beautiful space, and adding a few more team members during peak evening hours would really enhance the guest experience. Given the premium price point, we expected a slightly more polished overall experience. That said, the property itself is stunning, and with a few operational improvements, it would truly live up to the exceptional standard the Auberge brand is known for.

A Perfect Blend of Luxury, History, and Southwestern Charm

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Bishop's Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip to Santa Fe. The resort perfectly blends authentic Southwestern charm with modern luxury, creating a peaceful retreat just minutes from the Plaza. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, with thoughtful details that reflected the history and character of New Mexico. The property itself is stunning, with incredible mountain views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and plenty of quiet places to relax and enjoy the scenery. The service was outstanding from check-in through departure. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in making our stay memorable. The concierge team also provided excellent recommendations for local activities and dining. The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio while taking in the views. Whether you're hiking the nearby trails, unwinding by the pool, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, Bishop's Lodge offers a true luxury experience without feeling pretentious. If you're visiting Santa Fe and looking for a resort that combines exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and an authentic sense of place, I highly recommend Bishop's Lodge. We left already looking forward to our next visit.

THe Ultimate Authentic, Elevated Northern New Mexico Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was one of the best trips of my life, and the accomodations and service at Bishops Lodge played a huge role in that. The rooms were aesthetically 10/10, they were super comforable and clean. Staff was extremely accommodating, and could not have been kinder in answering all of my questions or easing the struggle of my altitude sickness with endless amounts of chlorphyll water, oxygen cans, advil, and other high altitude concoctions. If I had another five days to spend exclusively at this hotel to do more of the activities, I absolutely would have, becasue they have so much to offer in addition to an unlimited amount of options in the city! Cannot wait for my next trip!

Great week at Bishop's Lodge!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Bishop's Lodge was the perfect base for seeing and experiencing the beauty of Sante Fe. Our room had sweeping views of the resort and mountains. It took less than 10 minutes to get to Sante Fe downtown and the shuttle made it so easy to go back and forth. The property has a well trained professional staff. We look forward to returning.

“The Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa was fabulous. They are so nice and treat everyone like they are the only people at the resort.”

“The reserved rooms were either shabby or had views that overlooked industrial buildings...for $50 per day we were upgraded to an outstanding villa that was probably worth much more”
