We spent three beautiful days at Bishop Lodge and couldn't have been happier. The property itself is stunning, perfectly capturing the natural beauty and charm that makes Santa Fe so special. What really stood out was how well the resort catered to every member of our family. From the moment we arrived, our six-year-old daughter felt like a VIP -- her name was written on the mirror in our room and a thoughtful selection of kid-friendly treats was waiting for her. She was absolutely delighted. With onsite activities keeping her thoroughly entertained throughout our stay, we parents had plenty of time to unwind and relax. That balance is hard to find, and Bishop Lodge nailed it. The dining options on property are somewhat limited in variety, though the quality of what's offered is genuinely good. And with the vibrant restaurants of Santa Fe just a ten-minute drive away, it's hardly a dealbreaker. Above all, the staff made this trip. Friendly, warm, and attentive without being intrusive, they have a real gift for making guests feel valued and genuinely welcomed. That personal touch elevated the entire experience. We will absolutely be back.

What a beautiful resort. It’s beautiful and set into the hills. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet close to town. The room was beautifully appointed, they provided all the amenities, and it was cleaned twice a day with cute little gifts at turn down. We went horseback riding, which is not officially associated with the hotel, but you can book through the hotel. I found that if you had your own wherewithal, you could book all the same activities that the hotel offered, on your own, and it was a fraction of the price, eg astrologer, chocolate tasting. The hotel restaurant, Skyfire, was very nice, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the food was good. It’s a very scenic place. Dogs are welcome there. There’s little parking there so they offer a complimentary valet. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a shuttle that goes into town and they have various Mercedes for the guest to use on a first come first serve basis, including a Maybach.

A combination of natural colors and elements in design, adventure, and calming, peaceful setting. Every moment of the day and every interaction was bringing us back to grounded state of mind and soul where you and nature are one. There is old chapel on the property were you can have yoga and meditation or just spend time there. The horseback riding experience was a major highlight. We were beginners and it was excellent for the first time! Just few minutes from the property there was so much space to explore and feel aligned with a nature. We haven’t met any one during time of our ride. The trails get challenging sometimes when you go up the mountain, but horses had such a secure bond with Emma, our guide, that it makes you feel very confident and safe, even when you don’t know what are you doing. Our horses were incredibly well-cared-for and gentle. We started little worried and wired, but after 10 min all what we felt was peace and gratitude. It’s hard to imagine better first time horseback riding than what we had. So grateful! The next day yoga was so right thing to do after the ride.

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at Bishops Lodge and it was perfect! The location is breathtaking, the service exceptional, always there and never obtrusive. The concierge planned a perfect itinerary for us, she balance our desire for active time, arts time, and relaxation time perfectly. Quiet luxury, in every way. I would recommend for any type of traveler, looking for a unique and luxurious experience!

very relaxing environment and location. It is a 10 minute drive to the plaza area, but worth the drive out of town to stay in the canyon area surrounded by nature.

“The Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa was fabulous. They are so nice and treat everyone like they are the only people at the resort.”

“The reserved rooms were either shabby or had views that overlooked industrial buildings...for $50 per day we were upgraded to an outstanding villa that was probably worth much more”
