Our stay at Bishop’s Lodge was truly special. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, intentional, and welcoming. The setting is breathtaking—the mountains, the colors, the quiet—it all creates such a sense of peace. Every person we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuine. You can tell the staff truly care about each guest’s experience. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully done. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and grounding, but Bishop’s Lodge does exactly that. We left feeling restored, grateful, and already planning our next visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Although one of our favorite go to local hangouts for weekday happy hour, it seemed very average today. Service, as always above average, but food choices today were average during the 1/2 price happy hour. Drinks great, the food choices selected were served colder than anticipated, when two options should have been hot. After several years visiting this weekly happy hour, the portion was also noticeably smaller. Want to visit again, however unimpressed today.

Beautiful location and highly desirable to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Loved being able to reach hiking trails, horseback riding directly from the resort. Trek into and out of town easy with the friendly shuttle service but did take some logistics. Since we have stayed in town before this was exactly what we needed. Restaurant was beautiful and service was excellent, cocktails were outstanding but food was a bit heavy and resort food-like. Loved being in a natural setting with updated large rooms and at the same time having the historic presence of the Bishop’s chapel. Horseback riding was great, awesome staff. Spa was great quality and awesome staff but spa itself was scheduled treatment only without steam/sauna amenities other spas might have. Highly recommend.

Beautiful resort a short drive from Santa Fe. Serene and spacious rooms and grounds. Valet service was efficient and helpful. Pool and hot tub were highlights for us and dinner at SkyFire was stellar. This is a luxurious resort with a friendly vibe. Prices reflect that luxury, but a real treat for special occasions.

“The Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa was fabulous. They are so nice and treat everyone like they are the only people at the resort.”

“The reserved rooms were either shabby or had views that overlooked industrial buildings...for $50 per day we were upgraded to an outstanding villa that was probably worth much more”
