Reviews for Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection

Lacks quality expected at this price point

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This is a very high end property that does not have the quality or service required of such a property. The location is beautiful, yet it is in a canyon thus enclosed with limited views of the sunrises/sunsets. Gold carts currently running up and down the property detract from the ambiance. Room was not clean. Staff were not responsive to requests or needs. A much better choice at this price point is Five Graces if you wish to stay by the plaza, or Four Seasons if you wish to stay further out,

Beautiful property! Service needs to be improved!

Beautiful property!! Beautiful rooms! The service needs to be improved. The people were wonderful and friendly but there’s just not enough of them working. You could wait 15 minutes for your car or 45 depending on how busy they are. Service in the restaurant can be slow and at one point I waited 30 min for a cup of coffee in the cafe. No matter how often I asked the room wasn’t cleaned till the late afternoon and I only got turn down service twice! Not the employees fault. They need more people! The food was ok, not great. Relaxing and a beautiful pool area. Wonderful cocktails!!

Absolutely perfect! Our suite was stunning, the staff was fist class and the grounds gorgeous! The suites are well appointed, cozy and comfy but also modern and sleek.

One of the Best stays EVER

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Absolutely incredible from the time we entered the property. I can truly say this is one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. The grounds are beautiful; the rooms are elegant without being ostentatious; each member of the staff was nice, knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful. The bar/restaurant is beautiful - with good cocktails. We did a sound bath, a yoga class, sat in the hot tub - all first class experiences, but in unison with the surroundings. A+++++++ resort. Wow.

“The Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa was fabulous. They are so nice and treat everyone like they are the only people at the resort.”

“The reserved rooms were either shabby or had views that overlooked industrial buildings...for $50 per day we were upgraded to an outstanding villa that was probably worth much more”
