I booked a last minute, mid-week trip to Sedona, and I came across The Lodge on a bed and breakfast review site. I got a $179/night rate (for the smallest room available, Dreamweaver) since I was doing a weekday-only trip. Everything was perfect—the staff is so helpful and kind, the grounds were peaceful despite being close to everything, and you could really feel like you had your own space despite having people around. It was my birthday while I was there, and the staff left fruit, sparkling water and a beautiful rose in my room. That's just the kind of people they are. Quick notes: - the location is in West Sedona, which is convenient to everything but not in the tourist area. It was a nine minute drive to the Devil's Bridge/Chuckwagon trailhead and a six minute drive to Sugar Loaf Summit trailhead. - lots of people go here for an actual retreat or healing, but there are also people like me just using it as a hotel. While I didn't take advantage of any of the retreats there, I heard very positive things from people around the Sedona community about the health and wellness offerings that The Lodge's onsite doctors have. - don't miss the included breakfast! It's served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. every day, and they always have fruit and granola and yogurt, and give you one option for the main dish. I loved not having to make a decision, and the chef was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

We had one night at the Lodge at Sedona. At first we were disappointed because we picked a room with a view, but we ended up in a larger room Whispering Wind which was great. No view but a private terrace and easy walk to the labyrinth and medicine wheel - great way to start our day. The served breakfast was fantastic and the staff could not be more helpful.

SEDONA WELLNESS RETREAT -- Sedona, AZ If you are looking to get help with a serious illness (cancer, diabetes, etc.) using the Gerson Therapy, the Sedona Wellness Retreat is the place to go. The Gerson diet has a proven track record for over 60 years. It is a plant-based Vegan approach using juices, soft-cooked foods, fruit, salad and supplements to address deficiencies defined by bloodwork that is done shortly after arrival. The coast is a fair amount, but other Gerson clinics charge 3-4 times the cost here. There is a Naturopathic doctor on duty 7 days a week for a thorough evaluation of your needs & any required tweaks/changes. The Lodge is right off the main street – so is easy to find – but is quietly secluded and peaceful on the side road. There are 9 rooms in the Lodge, all of which are decorated in dark wood and soft earth tones, and the facilities are very well maintained. The exterior has a Yurt with a sauna, exercise equipment and this is where some classes, like yoga, are held. The landscaping promotes a very peaceful and garden-like atmosphere, with a Labyrinth, Medicine Wheel, roses, a fountain, spinning sculptures and several areas to sit and relax. Sedona itself is a warm, beautiful place to heal. The best part of the place, though, is the staff. Every person, from the doctors/nurses, administrative staff, the excellent cooks… to the maids and maintenance people are truly friendly and helpful to the best of their ability. The Sedona Wellness Retreat is an excellent place to start your healing journey.
