Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie, Washington

Overlooking the majestic Snoqualmie Falls in Washington state, Salish Lodge & Spa is a taste of pure Pacific Northwest. This 84-room resort is a luxury retreat in an iconic destination, originally built as a small inn in 1916, and today standing as a modern lodge paradise in the most superb of settings. All of the thoughtfully designed guest rooms offer oversize jetted bathtubs, private fireplaces and - most of all - a warm, inviting ambiance. Feather down comforters, custom artwork and private balconies add the special touches that make your time at Salish Lodge & Spa so memorable, and many rooms offer views of the Snoqualmie River. Stay connected with your room's flat-panel television, wireless Internet access, and iPod dock, or choose to turn off the world and indulge in a lavender mint bubble bath instead. It's up to you. The resort offers a full fitness center as well as daily vinyasa yoga classes, replete with view of the falls, should you be looking to further increase your inner peace.

The award-winning Spa at Salish Lodge breathes an air of relaxation into you from the moment you arrive and inhale the fresh aroma of cedar and eucalyptus. Relax in the dry sauna, steam room, or therapeutic pools before your treatment, then allow the skilled therapists to massage you into a world of relaxation. The resort also hosts a truly unique feature that adds to your stay indirectly - honeybees. What started with a small four-hive collection on the hillside in 2011 is now a fully maintained apiary that produces 2,400 pounds of honey each year. The bees pollinate 80% of the resort's flowering crops, which in turn are used at the restaurants to provide delicious and fresh fare. From the herb garden to the 800-square-foot organic vegetable garden, Salish Lodge & Spa utilizes an abundance of its own farming to nourish you at mealtime. The Dining Room is the main venue of choice for a memorable meal in a picturesque setting, offering Northwest cuisine and refined cooking techniques. Grab a casual meal at The Attic, which serves up wood-fired pizzas with housemade mozzarella, and handcrafted sandwiches to get you through an afternoon of exploring the outdoors. At Salish Lodge & Spa, you are very much an integral part of the land, all the more enhancing an already memorable experience.

My husband and I stayed at Salish Lodge to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We booked the Romance atop the Falls package. The check in was quick and provided us with information we needed. We appreciated the friendly front desk staff who offered us a cup of bourbon cider. We had a river view King room, which was spacious and tastefully decorated. There were rose petals around fireplace and side table, and welcome Champagne in our room. The view from our room was not spectacular. Still it was beautiful view of the top of Snoqualmie fall. We loved the dual shower-head shower! We made the last minutes reservation for their spa massage but unfortunately the fireplace couple’s massage was not available. We ended up getting our massage in a separate room. I highly recommend making your spa appointment at the time of your room reservation. The package included breakfast at the dining room. We selected their signature breakfast including mimosas. The breakfast dishes were delicious; we especially enjoyed their pastries. We thought the portion size was too big for us and a bit heavy on starches. Still we did enjoy the breakfast. Next time, we probably will do a la carte as we are not used to eating heavy breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Salish Lodge and we are already planning our future vacation there. We are thinking of trying Salish Signature package next time. We appreciate staff’s attentiveness to our needs making our stay extra special. Thank you!!!

Took my sister here for her birthday. It was perfect! The view from the dining room overlooking the falls, the food, the wait staff, the ambiance. It’s an hour drive from Seattle. The lodge is lovely.

I stayed at the Salish Lodge for 3 days with my teenager for a spring break trip to the Pacific Northwest (we live in NYC). What a lovely place! It even smells wonderful as soon as you enter the beautiful main building !! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel (lodge) is undergoing a significant renovation, and we were in a newly renovated room. Our room was terrific -- very cozy (but nicely sized), very "lodge-y" (with lots of wood and stone) and very very comfortable. We had a gas fireplace across from the bed and a huge TV. I had a hard time getting my teenager to want to leave the room!!! We ate at the Attic once, and then had room service a few times and the food was very good. The view from the Attic is terrific -- you must have a table by the windows to really enjoy it fully. The Salish Lodge is also very well located for exploring the Falls, as well as the small towns all along that corridor (Duvall, Carnation, North Bend, etc). I would totally recommend the Salish Lodge for anyone staying in this area -- it is a real treat! PS -- if you decide to hike down to the base of the Falls for the view, be prepared for a very STEEP hike back up. There is a place to park much closer to the bottom that we should have considered, though we did feel pretty proud of ourselves when we made it back up on foot!!!

Spent weekend at Salish Lodge with 7 girlfriends. Salish is the best place to stay! From the minute you arrive you're there top priority. They're friendly and there service people are the best, from valet service clear through waiters/waitresses. I highly recommend Salish Lodge, you won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be back.
