Our first impression of the Sundance resort was walking into the reception office and not being greeted by the concierge Brenda. In fact Brenda didn’t even lift her head from her computer screen to say hello. It was only after we were checked in by others and walked over to Brenda’s desk did she address us. Then, apparently Brenda forgot to make our dinner reservation for the next night and we were left with no table at the restaurant. We had to wait until someone got up and finished their dinner before we could get a table. Very underwhelming experience for the price you pay for this resort. Perhaps you need to find a new concierge.

Amazing ski instructors! My 5 year year old loved her ski instructors so much (she had 3 lessons between 2 different instructors). We were worried she’d be exhausted after 2.5hr lessons, but she all smiles and wanted to keep skiing when we picked her up. This was her first time skiing and by the 3rd day she really got the hang of it. A great place to learn to ski (and really fun for all ski levels). The whole family loved the overall atmosphere of the ski resort. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. We can’t wait to come back next year.

If you are looking for a cool, hip resort that’s smaller than Park City with good skiing…stay at Sundance. Food is amazing at all of their restaurants, the staff is so helpful, and the rooms are lovely. Their bar has live music and delicious cocktails. Some of the rooms you have to walk up several stairs, so make sure you ask about your room location if stairs are tough for you. Parking can be hard to find near your room. Make sure to discuss all of this with front desk at check in.

Our family had a wonderful winter experience at the Sundance Resort. We loved the ceramics/pottery class at the art studio, great dining, a very positive ski lesson for my 8 year old, flawless service and of course great snow! While the food is excellent, it can get very pricy. If we did it again, I would bring some breakfast groceries and take advantage of the kitchen in the cabin.

Sundance is a family oriented resort even though we were on a business meeting. The service was outstanding with the employees so friendly and service oriented. OMG! The food was delicious from the burgers and tater tots to the prime rib, even the buffets were delicious! I love the smaller intimate nature of the resort yet the ski runs seemed plentiful enough not to get bored. The lodge rooms are showing their age but were immaculate and they provide daily cleaning service. It was easy to get to from the Salt Lake City Airport. We go every year and always look forward to it.
