I had such a positive experience staying at Mountain Lodge in Telluride for their closing ski weekend! We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, with a full kitchen, the coziest fireplace and balcony overlooking the mountains. Ski in / Ski out doesn't get much better than this. Every morning, we grabbed our skis and walked 10 steps from the hotel to the mountain and when we were finished for the day, we'd ski right back to the front steps. The location is great. It's about a 6 minute walk to the heart of Mountain Village (there's also a free shuttle), with the gondola that takes you right into Telluride town. The staff was incredibly helpful, shoutout to Sam Barnes and concierge who helped us map out the mountain and get settled!

The front desk staff is unhelpful and rude. They do not explain everything. Shuttle service is spotty—taking up to 20 minutes wait for a short drive. Housekeeping was late afternoon. Room is dirty. This property is very overpriced for what you get. Bell staff is slow to respond.

We just got back from a week vacation at Mountain Lodge Telluride and we were absolutely blown away. The convenience of ski in ski out was incredible as well as the endless views of the San Juan mountains and close location to the Village and Village market. After skiing all day soaking in the hot tubs was absolutely perfect. I can’t thank Michelle Noyes enough for helping us book this trip, which was without question the greatest trip our Family has ever been on, we will be back next year for sure.

Beautiful views of the mountains! They are a short walk to the market gondola but provided a courtesy shuttle to it & to mountain village. The shuttle was very quick to respond to requests. The rooms are in buildings down the hill so there’s a short but uphill walk to the main building for the shuttle. The 2 hot tubs are located at the main building so you would have to walk outdoors in the snow to get there so wasn’t very practical. Lobby is cramped - leave luggage outside to checkin. The free gondolas were great! There are no Ubers so this is your transportation between Mountain Village & Telluride. The rooms are nice & clean. The fireplace was nice! Staff were friendly. The walls & ceiling are paper thin - you can hear everything above & next to you. The gym was anemic & cramped space. The mountain views & proximity to the market gondola were definitely the highlights!

Ahhhhmazing guest service. The staff was wonderful - from the valet to the concierge (Heather G) to the cleaning crew. Food at the restaurant was delicious. They were a bit short-handed but seated us right away and were very communicative, which we appreciated. Weather was perfect (June) so we sat outside with our pups and had a great lunch while we waited on our room. The lodge was very clean, walkable, quiet and in a great location - a quick shuttle ride to the market and the gondola. It was so easy to get to town + a fun ride back & forth. We even took our dogs on their first gondola ride! Speaking of...I was a little worried about having our pets with us but once we arrived we realized that the hotel was truly dog friendly. Our suite was even complete with a doggie bed, food & water bowls. In fact, the whole town was accessible to our pets. We loved this and now even more-so as we didn't realize it would be our dog Baxter's "last hurrah". We're so thankful he had a great time on his last vacation. I highly recommend the Mountain Lodge and we'll definitely go back.
