We were booked on a tour company tour traveling from South Africa and into Zimbabwe to this hotel and I would rate this maybe as the most iconic African safari vibe of the all the hotel we have been to. The high up view of the hotel with a view of the waterhole allows us to look at wildlife at anytime. The feeding of the vultures were educational and fun. It’s nice that the hotel provides free shuttle service into town, although I had never felt the need to go there. The hotel restaurant was very good with made to order menu along with some buffet item was very good. The dinner items were good and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There is a pool also. The best part for me is the vibe of the building which is similar to a large tree house and the view below onto the National Park and a waterhole, giving me a real safari vibe, and made me feel that I have finally and truly arrived in Africa.

The lodge is comfortable and spacious, the staff very courteous and friendly but the restaurant was woeful last night. Our group was all of the same opinion for a range of dishes and most left most as inedible. The guines fowl was long dead, over cooked, chewy, dry and black. The steaks came cold and replacement came fatty and inedible. Desserts likewise were stale or unappetising. Breakfas was marginally better but service was painfully slow. My over-easy eggs were dry. Tea was forgettable. We will eat out tonight despite the US$40 taxi ride into Vic Falls

We only stayed for one night but very much enjoyed the experience. The balcony overlooking the distant water hole is a real plus. The design and ambiance of the Hotel are good and the food was excellent. The staff were cheerful and attentive. The only minor drawbacks are that it is a bit on the expensive side and the swimming pool is rather small.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is amazing. The views from the rooms and the restaurants are spectacular. We loved watching the staff feed the vultures the leftovers from the dining rooms. Hundreds come to feast and it helps these creatures survive. The lodge is very close to the falls and has a free shuttle into town.

Wow, what a place. I can highly recommend this beauty property to everyone. I spent my birthday here and although nothing was done for my birthday (except sparkling wine on arrival in the room), I still had an amazing weekend spent here. Thank you for a lovely time.
