Reviews for Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Everything about the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge well exceeded my expectations. The accommodations, food, staff, and location can not be beat. I will be returning to Zimbabwe, and will stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge again.
Staying in one of the club suites was the icing on the cake! From the service to the exclusive dining room, viewing deck and complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails we were spoilt from the minute we arrived. The club is also close to the main lodge which has an excellent restaurant for dinner. We saw warthog wandering in the grounds and a variety of wildlife around the watering hole kept us entertained. The lodge itself is fairly remote but a complimentary bus service is provided hourly to take you to the Falls and into town. I would definitely recommend the Safari lodge as an excellent place to stay whilst visiting Vic Falls

Overall an excellent place. The staff is first rate. The rooms are a little small, but well appointed. The front people are excellent from baggage handling to check in. The kitchen and servers are a little slow on delivering and removal of plates before each serving. However, the meals are very good. The "Buffalo Burger" in the bar is tops. Have visited four times in recent years. Definite recommendation to book online for good savings. Will stay there again.

This place must be one of the most breathtaking locations on the planet. Sit out on the terrace with a sundowner drink and overlook the reserve and watch the animals as they come to the watering hole at sundown to feed and drink. We saw elephants, warthog, crocs and buffalo at close quarters as well as elandi and springbok, not to mention countless birds. After sunset we enjoyed a delicious meal in the upstairs restaurant which again offers panoramic views out across the plain. Truly stunning. A must visit activity when at Vic Falls.

The Safari Lodge was our favorite lodging during our trip to South Africa. The grounds are beautiful and we even saw warthogs running through the grass one day ont heir way tot he watering hole. The rooms are well maintained, roomy, a welcomed fridge and room safe, the decor is beautiful African, and the mosquito netting around the beds is both romantic and essential. Overlooking the watering hole from our balcony was incredible and the wildlife was quite abundant. Every employee at the lodge was friendly, helpful, and did all possible to make our stay perfect...it was! We had breakfasts, lunch, and dinner at the lodge and the food was varied in selection and delicious. The shuttle into the village, Victoria Falls, and the craft markets was an appreciated bonus and it ran frequently making this something we utilized several times. My husband booked the Hide and See at the lodge watering hole viewing blind for 2 hrs. on the last afternoon of our stay...it was absolutely the highlight of his entire African Adventure and the moments via photos really are quite stunning that he was able to capture. The guide, Charles, was knowledgeable, friendly, and took great care to assure my husband's safety. I have only want complaint...I wish that we could have stayed longer. Thank you to everyone working at the hotel for making our stay memorable, comfortable, really just perfect!! One day we will return...don't miss this incredible lodging at Victoria Falls.
