Spent a couple of nights here as part of a longer tour. The room was great with 'free bottled water' daily and everything else you could hope for apart from TV ... but who needs that when you stay here?! I particularly liked the fact that there were some UK type power sockets that avoided the need for an adaptor. In addition the shower was one of the best I've experienced .... being large and powerful. Outside the room, the guest areas all tend to overlook the "water hole" providing the opportunity to eat, drink and or just relax whilst watching out for wildlife. Also, don't miss the vultures being 'fed' at 1pm! There's an hourly (complimentary) bus service to nearby Victoria Falls. Staff were all friendly and ready to help. My only criticism was some of the pricing (all US dollars) were a little steep but that's a small price to pay for everything else.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in both the Safari Lodge and the Safari Club. For a little more money I recommend the Club rooms. The breakfast and dinner at Makuwa Kuwa restaurant were amazing. BOMA is a must see while you're there. The hospitality is nothing short of amazing and it is no wonder many a tourist favor this destination. This was the perfect honeymoon for us!

Hospitality at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was excellent, from the minute we walked in till the minute we left. The main lodge is very impressive and it offers views from several levels onto a waterhole that attracts a variety of wildlife throughout the day - it's fun to sit in the bar or restaurant and watch storks, kudu, elephants, crocodiles and warthogs meandering around this gathering place. Food is excellent. Our hotel room felt a little tired, but it was spacious, comfortable and offered a nice view of the waterhole. We also took advantage of an opportunity to watch people from the national park service feed vultures in the hotel's backyard - part of an effort to preserve and restore the population. It was an amazing site!
