We stayed at this hotel for three nights as an add on to our Distant Journeys tour of South Africa and so pleased we did. Possibly the best three days of our entire holiday. The hotel is simply lovely and the location and views of the watering hole are stunning. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which is open air and saw giraffe, elephants, wart hogs, baboons and many birds while we dined. Absolutely super - would definitely recommend.

We had the most enjoyable time at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The views were spectacular, the people friendly and the lodge in pristine condition! We will definitely be back. Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana are all beautiful countries.

The Lodge is beautifully designed and blends into the environment. Facilities excellent just a short distance from the Town of Victoria Falls with a regular shuttle service to the main sights. Each room has a panoramic view of the surrounding bush and the waterhole, with distant views across to Livingstone in Zambia. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with an awesome shower! Viewing the Vulture feeding was impressive and learnt a lot about these birds. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food fantastic, breakfast is a real treat. We found this an ideal base to explore all that this area has to offer.

The hotel is located a short distance from town, but Victoria Falls is easily reachable by a complimentary shuttle that departs every hour (side note: Be aware that when visiting the Falls there are numerous and very pushy sellers that can cioud the experience). The hotel has Boma Restaurant on ts premises d this is worth a visit as it combines African cuisine with a drum and dance show. The rooms are comfortable and some offer views of a watering hole that is frequently visited by wildlife. A main terrace provides a great view of the watering hole and the majestic sunset. The service is friendly and you are surrounded by miles of wilderness so the setting is quite dramatic. Well worth a visit.
