Reviews for Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Nice suite but not as nice a view as I had the previous year at the lodge. The lodge is spectacular architecture; the suites are pleasantly arranged. Unfortunately, suite in addition to a bedroom upstairs, a bedroom on main floor and a living room with coffee and wine included on ground floor had lizards, spiders and other creepy crawlers which did not please a 12 year old with me.

We stayed at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge which was built on a cliff of a mountain. Be sure to ask for a upper level rooms closer to the restaurant that have a better views of the water holes. Animals come to drink in the morning. Around 2 PM, the hotel staffs feed the vultures. Some night, they may light the water holes. Included with the breakfast are cook t order hot items.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, Views of the watering hole from the terrace and our room were excellent as was the great sunset. Shame you can't see the Falls but they are not too far away. The food is really good with plenty of choice. Probably not a place for anyone who is not very mobile as there are steps everywhere, including three from the bathroom to the bed which could be a bit hazardous in the night. Overall, a great place to stay.
Stayed for 2 nights in the club side. It had its own staff and breakfast and bar area. The bar and the minibar in the room, as well as breakfast was included in the tour we booked with Gate1. The room was very big, a king size bed with the requisite netting pulled at night during turndown service. We ate breakfast there twice and lunch once. The selection was nice food was very good (kudos for the fries, with a buffalo burger). The location is about 10 minutes walk to the town. On the premises, wildlife roams around. Warthogs are plentiful, so are vultures - they sit in a large tree waiting for their daily feeding at 1 PM, which you can witness at the main lodge restaurant/bar. Everyone was super nice. The GM came and wished everyone in our group farewell when we left. As of this writing, this is the #8 hotel in Victoria Falls. I don't know how the others are, but I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation.

Everything about the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge well exceeded my expectations. The accommodations, food, staff, and location can not be beat. I will be returning to Zimbabwe, and will stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge again.
