Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

The lodge is lovely and the location is wonderful, however the food was over cooked and/or tough. The biggest issue is that there were fresh blood stains on the bed sheets, it's impossible to get past this.

An excellent hotel to base yourself at for excursions around Victoria Falls. Surrounded by wildlife in the grounds such as warthogs, vultures, Mongeese and bush bucks. It has its very own watering hole where you can watch the sun going down with a cool drink at the bar and watch the animals such as zebra and wildebeest at the water. The lodge can organise great excursions to the falls where the guides are knowledgeable and attentive. Food at the lodge is great and the chefs accommodated a strict gluten free requirement (coeliac) for our family. Highly recommend.

All rooms are spacious, with glass sliding doors opening on to a private balcony boasting unrivalled views of the bushveld, with most overlooking the central waterhole, offering the opportunity to observe game.

Loved the location of the lodge as it was not right in the town centre but still very accessible. It was fun to look for animals at the waterhole each day. Rooms were excellent and service as well. Vulture culture experience was very educational. (NB Quite a few steps so not easy if you have accessibility issues.)
