After a week of camping, I booked this hotel for a relaxing day and it was just perfect. The room was beautiful, with a and very comfy bed. The views from the balcony were direct to the national park, so spotting animals was easy. Food was also very good and the staff's attention even better. I would absolutely come back here.

After a very long flight from the Us, through Johannesburg, I was astonished to find such a warm welcome and beautiful place waiting at the end of the road. The staff was always kind and helpful. The room was more beautiful than I could have imagined and I loved the way they arranged the bed in the evening, drawing the netting close around the bed. The shower was huge and excellent. Every meal was excellent and the singers in the evening were exceptional. They should have a CD ready for sale; everyone in my group would have bought one.

We stayed at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for a very special family celebration at the end of April 2018. It was our first trip back ‘home’ to Zimbabwe in almost 20 years to celebrate our Dad’s 80th birthday. As a family group of 10, the hotel managed to keep all of us entertained and enchanted (from 12-80 years old!). The lodge is situated 10 minutes from the town and the Falls and the hourly free shuttle makes it really easy to access all the attractions - we even saw game (elephant and kudu) on that short journey! The staff are delightful and the rooms are extremely comfortable with gorgeous white linen and canopy mosquito nets. We were thrilled by the views of a wide range of animals (even baby elephant) drinking at the waterhole throughout the day and the spectacular African sunsets. The vulture feeding programme at the hotel (1pm daily) is an amazing sight and if you wander through the lovely, lush hotel gardens you are sure to see warthog sunning themselves on the lawns! The restaurant, bar and pool also overlook the waterhole, so you really feel like you are on safari wherever you go in the hotel. Grace at the activities desk arranged a fabulous Zambezi sunset dinner cruise for us and a spectacular helicopter flight. The Victoria Falls themselves blew us away with their magnificence - at their highest in many years - and we went back twice just to soak in (quite literally, we got drenched) the natural beauty. Thanks again for making our trip so memorable. We will be back!

I loved staying here, the rooms were nicely done with comfortable beds, but the highlight was watching animals from your balcony! The views from the restaurant/bar area were incredible too for a wide variety of animal sightings. The hotel had a shuttle to go into town and the staff were nice. Would definitely stay there again!
