If you're into modern, loud, glitzy resorts, the Best of Both Worlds is not for you. If you like a little funkiness, a laid back vibe and pure relaxation, this is a hidden gem! Our host, Angie, was absolutely accommodating and wonderful. The houses are clean and stocked with what you need for your stay. We stayed in the smallest house and enjoyed every minute. Most nights were spent grilling on the patio while listening to the ocean just across the lawn. The sunsets were glorious. My favorite thing was being able to walk down the steps, step into the water and snorkel. I spent hours watching sea life. It was the most relaxing thing I've done in a long time. We will definitely be back!

Incredible host! Top notch communication! Above and beyond accommodating! My husband and I loved our beautifully romantic and relaxing anniversary! Pet friendly! Our two huskies loved the yard! Plenty of grass and space! With covid host Angie was so very considerate, sweet and welcoming! We were able to check in early and enjoy Islamorada sooner! Beautiful area! Cozy and comfy space! Everything we needed! Exceeded our expectations! Will be staying again! Thank you for everything! Best part is the guest service and gorgeous property!!

It sounds like once this was a sweet place to stay. We feel cheated by the 5 star ratings. We found it dirty, tired, not a comfortable spot in or outside plus we had trouble with spiders and bugs. Our trip was spent looking for things to do to keep us away from The Best of Both Worlds. If you choose to stay bring bug spray. Sorry to say this, but hate for others to experience what we did

This is our third stay at Best of Both Worlds. Love this place! Dana is the perfect host. Normally, we stay in the cottage which is perfect for the two of us. This year we had three nights in the house and feel at tad spoiled! Very roomy with full accommodations. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

If you are looking for a low key slice of paradise you can’t go wrong by staying here. Dana was not only friendly and welcoming, but accommodated early check in, and an extra nights stay as we just didn’t want to leave! We had everything we needed, and the property exceeded our expectations. The sunset view can’t be beat, and you can literally walk right into the ocean from the back lawn. Snorkeling was phenomenal (equipment was included) and we took the kayak (also included) out to the sand bar where other people, boats, and crystal clear water awaited us. Upon driving down we had plans to head out different places each night, but ended up staying put as we enjoyed the property so much, and there was no need to be anywhere else. We certainly feel relaxed and refreshed, and really appreciated all the local tips provided by Dana. It was so neat to stay somewhere with the old style keys feel that was quaint and unassuming. We didn’t want the commercial hotel feel as we are not high maintenance folk, and this place did not disappoint! Thank you Dana! We will def book again, and recommend staying here!
