First Tracks Lodge

This place is great for certain types of vacations--couples looking for a quiet getaway away from the "scene", families that like to be a bit self sufficient, etc. Not a room service type place, not a good party place...lots of rules about noise and cannabis that they (shockingly!) actually enforce. Great gym for real workouts, the outdoor pool is lovely, nice to have a kitchen to make coffee (but also good coffee a short walk away, namely, Rockit). Also awesome for people who are pet-allergic, because they are not pet-friendly. Some owners have registered dogs, but otherwise, they were actually pet-free (and checking). In short, we loved it, but make sure it's a good fit for you!

This was our first visit to First Tracks Lodge in Whistler. We popped up to Whistler Creekside for a mid-week getaway before the summer crowds arrive. We checked in at the Legends front desk that is next door, and we’re greeted warmly by Marie. She was very informative and friendly. Our room at First Tracks was really clean, elegant, and spacious. The property was very well maintained, and we quite enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. The lodge seems to geared towards adults, was very quiet and relaxing. We plan to return to First Tracks in the future.

First Tracks Lodge is located steps away from the Creekside Gondola in Creekside Village and offer true ski-in ski-out accessibility. In addition, First Tracks offers more options on size and space for those looking for condo-style properties. The three bedroom condo units comfortably fit 6 guests with a large kitchen. family and dining room. Ideal for guests looking to stay in the quieter Creekside part of town. Although farther from the main Whistler Village (~5 minute drive) than our other recommendations, First Tracks Lodge offers updated rooms and unparalleled ski-in and ski-out accessibility. Beautiful hotel right by the gondola. Here is the problem…. Dusty’s is the restaurant located in the courtyard right across from the hotel. Umm ok they close at 6pm. Who is eating dinner that early??! I was traveling with a friend that injured her knee and we had to take a bus to the village to eat dinner because we arrived shortly after 6pm…. You would think it was midnight. Makes no sense. Don’t stay here if you plan on eating at a normal dinner time.
