Upon the advice of several friends, we stayed three nights at the Willows. The room was clean, well appointed, and met our expectations completely. The grounds are well maintained and we enjoyed dining at the Barking Frog for the most part. There is a hiking trail nearby, which is safe and very well maintained. We hope to come back soon.

I first stayed at the hotel shortly after it opened in about 2001. Willows Lodge has aged very gracefully. Years ago the "Lodge" look and feel was quite new. In the interim many have copied it but in my opinion none have improved upon it. The Architect put great effort into making a special sanctuary and it shows. We were very dissapointed by the slowness of breakfast at the Barking Frog. I did not let this impact my review of the Hotel however. In the original program many years ago the hotel had a fine buffet which was included in the night's stay (this was when a night was considerably less expensive.) One advantage of the buffet is that the guest can dive right into eating which after a wine soaked evening the night before id highly appreciated. The "Spa" is not to be missed. The Hot Tub has a perfect temperature and the setting was inspired by a Japanese Onson (Natural mountain hot water feature.) We didn't do any of the services but I've heard they are fine.

Quite the oasis in the midst of wine country, traffic and city life. Once arriving, the location is very private and quiet, and amenities were top notch. Our room was large and well adorned with everything we needed, plus some great perks like heated towels, in-mirror TV, large jacuzzi tub etc. etc. Can't beat the location either. Very much looking forward to staying again. Worth paying a premium, for sure!

This was our first time in Woodinville and we chose Willows Lodge because of its proximity to Chateau Ste. Michelle, where we were attending a concert. The hotel is beautiful, a first class facility. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Its wonderful restaurant, The Barking Frog, is located directly outside the front door, as is The Herbfarm, a nationally recognized gourmet restaurant. The hotel's location is perfect. It is a short, safe walk to the Woodinville wine district and several other very good restaurants such as The Commons and Purple Cafe and Wine Bar, and numerous tasting rooms such as DeLille Cellars. There is a great walking/running/biking trail right outside the hotel and you can check out bikes from the hotel. The hotel has a nice little bar in the lobby that features live music (a great nouveau flamenco trio while we were there.) It is also a very short (10 minute) walk to Chateau Ste. Michelle, which made getting to and from the concert a breeze. (Parking is limited and finding parking before concerts and dealing with traffic before and after can be a hassle.) We will definitely be back.

Let me say, we travel with our kids. We have a certain kind of hotel we typically stay in. Nice but not too nice. Because, well, we travel with our kids. And we expect them to act like kids. We ended up staying at Willows Lodge as a last resort. We took a spontaneous detour to Seattle on our road trip and could not find any decent hotel room available for less than $500/night. Except Willows Lodge. It was out of our normal price range but far less than anything else. Out of desperation, we booked it. We were greeted with smiles and glasses of wine. There was live music that evening and we were invited to sit and enjoy it while mingling with other guests. Our room was delightful in style and ambience. Every staff member we encountered was cheerful and friendly. Our kids loved touring the gardens and meeting the pigs. Willows Lodge was a fantastic surprise and we would enjoy staying there again in the future.
