The Willows Lodge is a lovely hotel with great rooms that are modern yet have a comfortable and homey feel. The staff is welcoming and very accommodating. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed it so much that we decided to reserve for another three nights down the road. We called the reservations number and also spoke with the front desk clerk at checkout. We gave them the new arrival and departure dates and they quoted us a rate for a room similar to the one we had. The front desk clerk printed us a "quote" for the 3-night stay. The total was far above 3 times the rate quoted. When questioned, we were told that the first night was as quoted but the second night increased by $25 and the third night increased by $85!!! I know that rates change but we should have been advised of that. We assumed that all three nights would be the rate quoted. They knew the dates and it was both discourteous and downright deceitful not to let us know of the increases for days two and three. Fortunately, we were able to cancel. I am not saying not to go to Willows Lodge; it is a lovely place. But, check your room rates and perhaps ask for a day by day breakdown.

We planned a luxurious booking to celebrate a personal milestone. The grounds were beautiful and the room would have been nice it it were clean - there was crumbs on of of the tables, some of the amenities were opened/used, and most notably there was a 1.5 inch piece of glass left on the floor from the previous occupant (broken glass maybe) that we injured ourselves on. We also had a scheduled check in time, and after being told we had been upgraded (nice, although in hindsight of all the issues, we would have appreciated our original room) the wait would be a few minutes - turned out to be 80 minutes after our scheduled check in.

The lodge was beautiful, peaceful, well kept, and the staff except for one person out of the more than a hundred that work there, were amazingly friendly and helpful. It is by far one of the nicest, quietest, most beautiful, and peaceful resort hotels we have ever been too.

Never been before, but I stayed here for a sales conference. Beautiful surroundings, breweries right nearby and distilleries within a walking distance of the spa! The room was amazing with a great shower and Jacuzzi! The staff was great and the bar was awesome!
