The Dorchester

What a spectacular experience the Dorchester is. It was such a joy to be reminded of what London is like at its best. The room was so beautiful - bright, uplifting and very spacious. Almost too good - you don’t want to leave. It really is an incredibly beautiful hotel - the service is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble - very professional. The function I attended in the ballroom was beautifully done. I rarely leave a hotel thinking it was good value and invariably something has irritated me but going to the Dorchester was like going back in time where service is impeccable and the guest is made to feel special. Melissa on front desk has exceptional customer service skills - efficient and resourceful I loved this hotel - I’ve stayed at a couple of others in the Dorchester Collection but this one really is the jewel in his crown as far as luxury and service go.

We recently returned to The Dorchester for our wedding anniversary and once again had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely personal. What makes The Dorchester so special is not just its beautiful surroundings, but the people who create such memorable experiences for their guests. A special thank you to Sean and Anuar, who both went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration feel incredibly special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and helped make our stay unforgettable. Also, I don’t have his name but there’s a lovely young Italian guy in The Vesper bar who always goes out of his way to make each evening special. Very much looking forward to returning in August.

A classic in London, great breakfast, good high tea, excellent address, fab service.

My husband and I went for an afternoon tea on a Sunday. The service was impeccable, honestly. Anuar went above and beyond, a true gem! He introduced me to matcha with oat milk, after I mentioned I wasn’t familiar with the taste - I’m converted. The sandwiches were fresh, scones were warm, tea was flowing and the pastries were tasty….what a delight. Highly recommend!

Perfection meets luxury … that is the only way to describe this hotel! In a great location, not far from everything you would want to see in London , the only thing that can match the beauty of the actual hotel itself is the elevated and quietly elegant level of service from the staff that attends to every request, want, or need a guest could have. From the front desk check in, to room service, to spa associates, to door men, to restaurant servers, every single lovely and warm, friendly staff member we encountered truly seemed happy to have us as guests. The property was impeccable. Cleanliness was exceptional. The common spaces were wonderfully presented, and the spa was one of our favorites. The rooms were spotless and luxurious without being pretentious. The bed was a dream, fluffy and cozy and made for the perfect night of sleep. Of particular note are the fantastic breakfasts here!!!! If looking for an oasis of beauty and fabulous service in London don’t miss it! Congratulations to the highest management of this hotel for not only curating a gorgeous and pristine hotel, but for having sone of the finest staff in all of the hospitality industry! Cannot wait to go back to this hotel!
