customer service is terrible, they dont value customers who are regular customers and dont honour their promises! i am appalled by the way i have been treated and dont recommend this hotel at all, there are better options more luxurious in London

Sadly no longer a five star service at the bar. Staff require training on how to speak to customers and service provided.

Me and my husband decided to spend 2 nights in London to experience Christmas festivities. This was our first time at The Dorchester. It's such a beautiful hotel. Our room (believe we got an upgrade) was beautifully decorated. It was a good size to. The bathroom was lovely and had underfloor heating. The room was immaculate. I had made requests when booking the room such as to have a bath and a bible in the room which were adhered to. On check in we were asked if we wanted our luggage brought to our room, unfortunately it took them 4 hours and phone calls from me to chase before it arrived in our room. We did receive an apology from a senior staff member and given dining credit. This was really the only poor service we received. The staff during our stay were friendly, always greeting you in the corridor. We didn't receive a turndown service one night. The cleaner also broke my hair product bottle and didn't advise us so no apology given. At checkout we we given some reimbursement. We had room service which arrived in good time and was good. I think compared to other 5 star hotels we've stayed in it's a bit more expensive. We both slept really well and melted into the bed. Just my personal preference but I would of preferred an inner sheet rather than just a duvet. We could hear some noise but nothing significant. We would recommend the hotel and would stay again. It's well located. It was lovely coming this time of year and seeing it decorated for Christmas. Thank you to everyone at The Dorchester for a lovely stay.

My aunts, my mum and I came for our annual festive afternoon tea and had a lovely afternoon. The patisserie and sandwiches were excellent as always, especially the tropical tart and the gingerbread ice cream sandwich, and our waiter, Anwar, was so kind, fun and friendly. He really made our visit one to remember and took such great care of us. We look forward to coming back.

We had the best afternoon tea experience especially thanks to Anuar, you really made us laugh and enjoy it even more. The food and service was lovely. Only thing that could be better is when I went to desk to say I have afternoon booked they sat us waiting and forgot about us. This could be improved. Thanks to as air and rest of staff that made up for it
