The Oberoi, Mumbai

Lovely hotel-we had fabulous suite with the most amazing views of the bay! We went to the included residents lounge between 7&8pm service was exceptionally slow and took about 25minutes for a gin and tonic!! We had dinner in the Italian restaurant-which was very cold with air conditioning set too low! There was a female singer who was good-our only issue was the price of the wine-absolutely extortionate price of approx £27 for 1 small glass -bottles about £80 for the cheapest on the menu!! Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options! All in all a very good hotel

The Oberoi Mumbai is the ideal hotel anywhere whether one is on business or, like us, a couple visiting a wonderful place. We’ve stayed here many times over the past 15 years. The rooms and views are wonderful. The hotel facilities are A+ and the people who work here are excellent. The concierge people are tops (Sachin, Nabeel and Danny). Everyone takes pride in their work. Driver Robert is wonderful. Bella, who kept our room clean and comfortable, also was wonderful, always going the “extra mile.” The restaurants and other facilities (eg, Eau bar) are wonderful. Great place!

The airport pickup is always seamless and stress-free, and after a long journey, being welcomed with such professionalism and warmth immediately makes me feel at home. Housekeeping is consistently exceptional — diligent, attentive, and always willing to listen carefully to preferences and instructions. It’s this level of attention to detail that elevates the comfort of every stay. Dining at Fenix is always a highlight. Every breakfast and dinner experience is thoughtful, warm, and consistently excellent. The quality of food, the attentiveness of the staff, and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere make each meal something to look forward to. What truly sets The Oberoi, Mumbai apart is not just the understated elegance, beautiful ambiance, or outstanding restaurants — it’s the people. The team creates an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, even when staying or dining alone. The Oberoi, Mumbai is more than a hotel — it has become a home away from home. Grateful for the consistently exceptional hospitality and already looking forward to returning again.

This is simply the best hotels in Mumbai. Located close to the major tourist attractions is South Mumbai. An immaculate hotel, well appointed rooms, exquisite food (Indian/Chinese/European), caring staff. Highly recommended!
