The Oberoi, Mumbai

Our stay at The Oberoi, Mumbai was excellent from start to finish. The service throughout the hotel was exceptionally attentive, and we felt completely at home from the very first moment thanks to the many thoughtful gestures from Mary and the housekeeping team. A special thank you also goes to the concierge, Nabeel, and the entire team for perfectly organizing all of our trips with the hotel car. Additionally, the food at the Fenix restaurant was always excellent. The hospitality here is genuinely warm and welcoming, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai.

My son and I recently stayed at The Oberoi Mumbai for a dad-son trip, and the team managed to turn an already highly anticipated vacation into a true core memory for both of us. We couldn't have asked for a better location to anchor our time in the city. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was palpable. Every single team member we encountered welcomed us with a genuine smile, creating an environment where the exceptional luxury felt incredibly personal and inviting. The logistics of our stay were handled flawlessly—the team seamlessly honored our pre-arrival requests for a quieter room on a higher floor, provided a wonderful upgrade, and accommodated a late checkout so our last day was stress-free. While the rooms do show their age a little bit, in a way, it actually adds to the beautiful nostalgia of the hotel and its iconic location. Plus, the in-room amenities by Forest Essentials were excellent and a really nice touch. The dining was another major highlight. The breakfasts at Ziya were absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to Sanket, who went out of his way to ensure our strict vegetarian and egg-free preferences were accommodated perfectly every morning. Huge shout outs to Sanchari and Akshay, who were exceptionally attentive on the floor and ensured we were taken care of at every turn. The fitness and spa room were under renovation during our stay, but we ended up using the Trident fitness center which was well equipped. If you are looking for a hotel that pairs a fantastic location with staff who genuinely care about your experience, I cannot recommend The Oberoi highly enough. We look forward to returning!

Everything was just perfect. The stay was. Food was excellent. Spending time to watch Golden Hour was a serene feeling. Would surely be visiting soon and stay for a day extra just to enjoy the property.

The Oberoi Mumbai has got the best view among all the hotels in the town it’s one of the luxury hotel where the destination is as memorable as the stay. This was our 4th visit in past six months we stayed in the Premier Ocean View Suite and the Premier Suite with Queen’s Necklace View, and both offered spectacular panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the iconic Queen’s Necklace. From bedroom it’s spectacular view of Arabian Sea & star grazing sky very serene calm and peaceful. Cleanliness of the hotel is next level from lift doors & its nobs being cleaned and sanitized frequently. Among all the five star hotels in mumbai Oberoi has got best location. Butler service of Taj palace Hotels & Oberoi’s are all together some different ball game. The openness in and around the hotel is refreshing, and its Marine Drive location is perfect for morning or evening walks—truly a jogger’s paradise. The minimalist décor is elegant and timeless, while the suites are spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light. NCPA is next door Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is 10min Both the cricket stadiums Brabourne & Wankhede are walk a way distance. It’s European cuisine Restaurant Vetro is under renovation that’s low point. Ziya Restaurant for its Michelin star level food & service is recommended for Luxury Fine Dining. Fenix all day dining is ok but in room dining better then that. What truly elevates the experience is the impeccable service combined with the hotel’s relaxed, peaceful ambience, it creates the perfect escape from the city’s pace. A timeless luxury hotel with breathtaking views, outstanding hospitality, and one of the finest locations in Mumbai. Highly recommended.
