We have stayed at this hotel over many years, and it is genuinely sad to see the decline of what was once a great hotel. I remember arriving at Naples Bay Resort and being greeted with warmth, politeness and genuine charm by the front‑desk staff. It always felt like coming home. Unfortunately, that experience has changed. These days you are barely offered a smile. The reception staff often come across as cold, unhelpful and, on several occasions, outright rude. This was not an isolated impression, many other guests we spoke to shared the same experience. If anyone from Naples Bay is reading this, please invest in retraining or changing the front‑desk team. The welcome guests receive sets the tone for their entire stay, and it is currently undermining what was once a truly wonderful hotel.

As I read recent reviews on this location, I agree -- The Naples Bay Resort IS NOT what it used to be. Aside from the Naples Bay Club, which was outstanding, this resort was a bit run down. The sink in the bathroom with the shower would barely drain. The shower water temperature was only adequate and the pressure was poor. The door to the washer and dryer room was removed and unsightly. A third-party reservation site, (GUESTRS*NAPLESBAYR 800-468-3578), attempted to charge $4623 for five nights.) Description of the accommodations were misleading. The coffee maker, though workable, needed replacing. The MENU guides on BOTH LG TVs provided ZERO channel/program availability. THE ABSOLUTE worst that I've ever seen; anywhere. Without a doubt, our view from the very nice balcony/deck area was atrocious. (see photos) There was one ballpoint pen and ZERO writing pads in the room . . . for a $700+/night room. We were shocked to see a $20 +tax/day charge for self-parking. This is ludicrous when the daily rate was ~$700.

Great experience, as always. Perfect location and especially enjoyed the shuttle service to restaurants and local stores. Exceptional drivers. Tony was very helpful and accommodating. Larry, who is fairly new, was also exceptional, cheerful and friendly. Jose 1 and Jose were very helpful as well. Hope, the concierge helped with reservations and various tasks including boarding passes for return to New Jersey and car service to airport. Nicole, manager runs a great hotel and we thank her and staff all for the special treats in our room, including a glass of bubbly upon arrival. Our apartment had a nice view and amenities. Very clean each day. Golf cart drivers were always available as needed to take us to pool and Indulge restaurant, which was one of the best meals of our trip. Cafe on the Bay had good food, friendly staff and manager. Another great vacation, our 9th year to this same resort. Thank you all!! The Santorellis

This hotel was a disappointment. It seems to be a case of being past its sell by date — meaning it is older and has not been kept up to date and the level that one expects from an expensive hotel. See my pictures and you’ll get the idea — Bed Bath Beyond art on the walls, furniture that is damaged and doesn’t work properly, sinks that don’t drain, toilets that you have to double flush, wall sockets by the bed that dont work so you can’t charge your phone. But wait, there’s more — our room was facing the very busy road and on the flight path for Naples airport so it was quite noisy. And speaking of noise, the door to the room was metal and hollow so you could literally hear every word of someone walking by….and the AC unit in the room was the loudest of any hotel I’ve ever been in. In “auto” mode it would come on at full blast like a jet engine. And last but not least, the pool and fitness center are shared with the Naples Club which is about a half mile walk away. The only positive to the hotel is that it has two independent restaurants which are very good — Nosh and Blackbird. We highly recommend both.

Beautiful, comfortable room for our family of six. Staff were all very pleasant. Check in was a breeze and since both valet and self park were same price we chose to valet and always had our vehicle within minutes. Grounds were immaculate and property centrally located. Easy drive to restaurants, mall, and beach. We will visit again!

Marilyn is the best concierge I have ever had in a resort! All the front desk were amazing... Drivers are great! The resort experience was beyond expectation - I would only stay here for my next Naples visit.
