Gran Melia Victoria in Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Located on the Spanish isle of Palma de Mallorca is the elegant and refined Gran Melia Victoria. This stylish hotel rests on the edge of a yacht-filled marina, and features traditional décor that is filled with a tapestry of textures and motifs, from sleek marble appointments to bolts of bold, striped fabrics. There are six distinct styles of accommodations from which to choose, including rooms and suites with added luxuries to ensure an unforgettable stay. Spaniards are all about enjoying the moment - a philosophy not lost on the guests of Gran Melia Victoria. The lavish outdoor swimming pool features a fleet of cabanas and a neighboring hot tub, as well as an al fresco fitness center. Massage therapy can be arranged upon request and administered in the privacy of your room or behind the drapes of a poolside cabana.

Reviews for Gran Melia Victoria
Recently on holiday was our third time in Mallorca, we have stayed in different parts of the island, and were drawn to the views of this hotel right away and very much llike the area right in Palma. In the future we would stay in this location, but we would be in a more modern hotel, this one is dated the room was not up to our standards.
we had two night in this wonderful hotel at the end of September. the room, overlooking the bay was fantastic, the staff were so helpful.my husband has dementia, and from the minute we checked in, early, they were so very helpful. I have to say the Reception staff were in a class of their own, amazing. you must have a room overlooking the bay, pass many hours just watching the world and ships go by. Wonderful "goodies" in the bathroom too!!!

This was our second visit and we noticed that the refurbishment has improved the hotel -- increased brightness with a more contemporary feel. Good to see that some of the earlier features have been retained. We were fortunate to have great weather throughout our stay and a highlight was to enjoy breakfast outside on the terrace -- a great start to each day. Buffet breakfast had a wide range of good quality choices available and the hot dishes included an option to have an omelette made to suit personal taste. We had lunch next to the pool on three occasions and we enjoyed all of our courses -- portions were generous. Our room had a view across the bay towards the cathedral and it well worth paying a bit more for the view. The room was comfortable and of a good size. Staff in all areas provided a high level of service and added to our holiday experience.

If i was judging our holiday based on service then I could rate it high as the employees are very cheerful and friendly and caring, I ordered a few things from the reception from my room and they were attended to in a timely manner. But unfortunately, I have to be honest, the hotel needs updating, its on the older side, this was obvious mostly in our room, and to top that off, I was underwhelmed by the quality of the food, so average overall.
My wife and I have been staying at this hotel for many years, except for three or four years when it went downhill a little. Thankfully it is now restored to its former glory. Substantial refurbishment has taken place and further refurbishment is ongoing. The staff have remained excellent as always and the new GM has made several changes which have resulted in a greatly improved guest experience. Food in the IKATZA restaurant is exceptional with service to match. The service from the Red Level team is the pinnacle of hospitality. We can highly recommend this hotel
