Gran Melia Victoria in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Located on the Spanish isle of Palma de Mallorca is the elegant and refined Gran Melia Victoria. This stylish hotel rests on the edge of a yacht-filled marina, and features traditional décor that is filled with a tapestry of textures and motifs, from sleek marble appointments to bolts of bold, striped fabrics. There are six distinct styles of accommodations from which to choose, including rooms and suites with added luxuries to ensure an unforgettable stay. Spaniards are all about enjoying the moment - a philosophy not lost on the guests of Gran Melia Victoria. The lavish outdoor swimming pool features a fleet of cabanas and a neighboring hot tub, as well as an al fresco fitness center. Massage therapy can be arranged upon request and administered in the privacy of your room or behind the drapes of a poolside cabana.

My family and I stayed again at this Hotel for my son's birthday, having previously stayed for my husband's 60th party celebrations. The hotel is in a beautiful position overlooking the harbour, the staff are all happy and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, the view of the cathedral at night was beautiful. Will certainly carry on staying at this hotel and also the Gran Melia Don Pepe in Marbella, this company really looks after its guests.

Very pleasantly surprised. A big hotel. On the marina/harbour front. A Spanish 30 minute walk to the centre (or 15-20 minutes if you're used to a busier pace of life. Or €5-10 in a taxi. Our room was big, massive king size bed and we had a part view of the marina. But clean and good amenities. And throughout the hotel there are really nice quirky touches. A good mix of a big traditional hotel feel with a touch of modern. Hotels like this often look tired but not this one, it is being well maintained. Great terrace area beside the lobby/restaurant perfect to sit and relax looking out to see. Hotel staff were all very friendly and quick to offer help. With an indoor and outdoor pool it caters for all weather. Although in March we weren't brave enough to have a splash.

I had high hopes for this hotel because of the Melia name, I have nothing but good things to say about others. This one lacked some thorough thinking, example, breakfast ends before the gym opens in the morning, so I could not wake, workout and then eat, i had to eat and then workout, makes no sense. My room didn't have much of a view other than street and buildings. The lifts are confusing, you have to change one for the pool and another to get to the rooms. So its just some things dont seem to have been well thought out to be honest.

A well appointed Hotel with a fantastic view from our sea front room. The hotel has top class facilities and was great for a 4 night stay. The hotel was fairly quite which reflected the time of year. The bar manager Rosario looked after us very well. A nice walk into Palma or a 5 minute taxi ride. Fabulous bars restaurants shops. We were lucky with brilliant weather.

Great location . Food and staff wonderful . You could always get a sunbed . You can't hear the road nearby . Great views from the terrace . Expensive but quality . Best hotel in Palma in my opinion . Walk to the marina opposite .
