My husband and I recently stayed here while he was attending a convention. We had what I believe is the smallest room the resort offers. That wasn't a problem; in that it was paid for by his business, we didn't expect to have a large suite. However, based upon pictures that I have seen, our room really wasn't that different from the larger suites -- just smaller. With that said, we were very unimpressed with the accommodations. What was once likely very nice is now dated and worn. Nevertheless, what really bothered us the most was the bed. It was absolutely awful! Every morning, both of us awoke with pain -- back, hip, shoulder. It was like sleeping on a rock! It may be a new mattress, but it needs some kind of a topper to temper its hardness. We did eat one meal at one of the restaurants, and it was very good but pricey. We stayed one extra night beyond the convention and paid for that ourselves. I was aghast to discover that our room fee was $250.00! It was sooooooooo not worth it! We have a time share and stay in resorts all over the place. Paradise Point is one of the least plush resorts we have ever visited and, in my opinion, way over priced. I seriously doubt that would ever book a room here ourselves.

Everything was wonderful! The wedding was beautiful and the reception great. The staff was wonderful. The property was beautiful. We really had a great time. I admit finding my way around was a little difficult but could just be me.

Beautiful grounds, rooms need updating. They smelled, the tile was peeling in the bathroom shower, cats in the room, and the room smelled of pinesol. Disappointed in the extra hefty charges for parking and resort fees. We one stayed 2 nights, and paid an additional $148 as we had already pre-paid for the hotel room months ago. That amount was for taxes, resort fee and parking fee. Food and ambiance was great at the beach front grill. We tried to get pizza from the pizza place at nearly 7pm, the wait was one hour for a pizza to take back to the room. With 3 small children that would not have worked, so we had to go off property for dinner. The menu at the beach front grill would have cost nearly $100 for dinner and with 3 tired kids, thats not worth it. Ad great as the location and grounds are at this resort, I do not think we will be back.

The bed was hard and the rooms/buildings are tired looking. The greenery and pond is pretty. I booked with points from my Credit Card and still had to shell out $200 dollars for parking and resort fees. Other hotels charge for delivery service and gratuity for room service but at least they set up the table and you are served on actual plates not like the paradise where you get a brown paper bag dropped at your door.
