Reviews for Eldorado Hotel & Spa
My friend and I visited the Hotel over the weekend and couldn’t have been happier. The front desk staff and valet staff were so gracious and accommodating. The rooms were clean and and beautiful with wonderful views of the Santa Fe sunsets and sunrises. I’d like to do a shout out to Barbara with the housekeeping staff. In my haste I left some items in the closet, as soon as I called she checked and found them. She immediately sent them out by Fedex to my next destination. Thanks Barbara, you are the best! Thanks again to all for the wonderful experience!

Had a great stay here the maid service was perfect and Sergio at the bar was outstanding.. The food in the restaurant was very good . The wife and I had a great breakfast. The front desk was very helpful. Very much recommend it.

Angel Banda is an exceptional waiter! His service made a really good dinner a great one! Without his excellent suggestions the evening would not have been nearly as enjoyable. His superior knowledge of a wine to pair with our choices was extremely helpful as was his remembering to authorize our parking ticket as we were not staying in the hotel.

The common areas of the Eldorado were fine, nice Christmas tress in the Lobby. Nice little cocktail bar. The room was very dark and the pillows were like pancakes. The request for more pillows, brought more bad pillows. It was ok.

We splurged on a king room with a balcony and fireplace. Having a little fireplace in the room created a cozy feeling. The weather was too cold to use the balcony (it snowed one night), but I'm sure it's nice at other times of year. We were pleased to have a large walk-in closet which included drawers, a safe, and bathrobes. The bathroom seemed a little small for the type of room (and had no towel bars, just hooks), but it was okay, and we were well supplied with bath products. The room also had a small fridge and a coffee maker. Overall the place was quiet, but there was a connecting door to the next room. Connecting doors are nearly always noise sources, and this was no exception, as we could hear the conversations and TV viewing of our neighbors. (They found the Olympics very exciting.) We appreciated the courtesy and quality of housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable. Be aware that if you arrive by car, you will pay a daily fee to use the valet parking garage (unlimited in and out). The valets are very nice, and the system is usually efficient, but if you need to leave in the morning when lots of people are checking out, allow plenty of extra time, as it may take a while to get your car. We found that when we returned after 11pm, there was no attendant, just a sign telling us to leave the car and take the keys to the front desk. The location is convenient, as just about everything in town is within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
